What a TERRIFIC episode!!!

Right after that scene in the stadium, I told DH that that guy as in the hatch. Long hair guy in hatch...stadium guy had ponytail. Stadium guy said "See you in another life". I so called!

GREAT episdoe! I can't even count the number of times I got chills!

Is Sara the one Jack marries? In an earleir episode they showed him getting married. I think it's to Sara.

Dh and I are not big t.v. watchers but got hooked on the summer re-runs. I was glad they did the 1 hour catch up before as we didn't see every episode.

The premiere was awesome! Jennifer S yeah, I think that's Jack's wife.

I def. have my theories about the hatch...

Okay, that was a great opening scene. I don't know about anyone else, but at first Lauri and I were thinking it was a Locke flashback -- the music, the old equipment. Then when the person heard the "Boom" we realized "ohmigod, this is INSIDE the hatch!"

Kate better not be gone.

The scene with Walt freaked us out. We already know Walt has some sort of psychic powers. Maybe that was some sort of image he projected to contact the others for help?

Kate better come back okay.

Years ago (8? 15? definitely longer than 4), Jack worked to save the life of a young woman with spinal damage and was convinced she would never walk again. After Jack meets this stranger named Desmond, she can. Now, the plane crashes on the island and Locke can walk, and guess who we find on the island? Yep, Desmond. Coincidence? Not on this show.

Magic? Some sort of advanced science? Or what?

I was confused at the beginning, I thought it was a commercial at first.

After the stadium scene I knew it would be Desmond. I also have my theory about the hatch.

I kept wondering where Sawyer was until the end and they showed the previews for next week. I forgot he was on the raft and I had just told my DH before the show started who was on the raft.

In case any of you with the freaky willpower are wondering, Fatty Weiss was dead on. No lies or fabrications at all. He left out the part about Sara's fiancee being a jerk (I think), and I don't remember the "quarantine." But everything else he told, happened.
Knowing all this didn't spoil the episode for me, either. It was just great!

My DS said the same thing........I bet he's the guy in the hatch....I said no way. Boy was I fooled. The opening scene was awesome. Based on the music I assuming he has been there for at least 20 years !!!!

The timeline is confusing. It doesn't seem to me that Desmond could have been there for as long as the music might indicate. Seems too long as Jack would have to me much older, wouldn't he? Perhaps Desmond is not the original habitant of the hatch? Wonder how HE got there!

Desmond told Jack at the stadium as he left "see you in the next life"? I think that is what her said. What do you think that means? What was the song playing in the beginning, I forgot already.
