I'm the one who said I thought Hurley and Walt knew each other before they got on the plane and I still think so.
Walt had not smiled or looked up from his game the entire time until Hurley got on the plane. Hurley gave him a thumbs up and Walt gave him a huge smile. We know that everyone is connected in some way before they got on the plane and I think Hurley and Walt might have met at the hotel. They were staying in similar looking hotels. Walt is angry, upset, etc., and who better to cheer him up than Hurley?

Of course since the creators said everything happens for a reason, I look at and analyze every detail

I don't think Sawyer will end up on the boat with the others. That boast seemed a bit small for him to be abel to get on it without the others knowing.

That's too bad. I was hoping Sawyer would redeem his reputation and save the day. Oh well. Can't fault me for trying to get him more action scenes.

What is the signifigance of the baby's name? Why is it such a big deal that she didnt name the baby till now is it really that she was just going to give it up for adoption or is it something more then that?

Have they ever explored the whole island?

From what I understand they will be re-running the season starting in early June

Funny...that part was so glazed over last night...that Claire had given Dainelle (french chick) the scratches on her arm....so Ethan was working WITH Danielle? (becuase HE took Claire)

Rgarding the monster, I found this on CNN:
"Yes, the finale delivered a promised glimpse of the polar bear-like creature that, since the premiere, has stalked the castaways, but until now was never really seen (at least by viewers). But on the finale it was almost an embedded joke, appearing in one drawing of a comic book Hurley was seen reading on the plane."

I think they may be confused. I don't thing the monster and the polar bear are the same thing.

As for the purgatory theory, the producers denied this on 20/20 a few weeks ago.

I'm leaving for summer camp june 15 and i wont be home till august 15 so i cant watch tv... its times like these i wish i had tevo (sp?) does any one know when itll be available on dvd cause i know for at least 24 they release it around the same time the new tv season starts... hopefully thatll be the case

leave it to me to get addicted to a tv show as it ends... the same thing happened with me and Dead like me and Carnivale they were both cancelled this year

When the "Others" arrived on the boat to take Walt from the raft there was a blonde woman (girl) who threw a jar of gasoline on the raft. Folks are guessing she might be Alex.

There was a blonde girl in the cabin section of the "Others" boat that took Walt. After Walt was grabbed and taken on board, the girl threw a hand-made explosive on the raft and it blew up. They only showed her for a split second, but she had long blond hair...at least it looked like a girl.

I think Hurley & Walt knew each other before too... It could be from the hotel and we just haven't seen that back story yet. Walt was playing his video game, Hurley definitely strikes me as a gamer since he collects comic books. I remember Walt mentioning to Michael that he needed new batteries, maybe (and this is a huge stretch) Hurley gave him batteries in the hotel or something. Remember at the beginning of the show, after the crash, Hurley had his tunes going constantly until they ran out of batteries... Maybe there's a connection there...

Thats awesome most tv shows are like 60-70 bucks and i usually sit and watch the whole season in one day (or as close to one day as i can get) and only a few weeks after i get back from camp so not long to wait (if i dont count the 9 weeks of camp hehe)

I thought it was a cool tie in the way Aaron AND Walt were both taken.

Both Claire and Michael didn't want their kid at the beginning. And now they are realizing the love they have for their kid.

I had tears in my eyes when they took Walt. I did not see that coming. DH kept saying, um, honey, it's only a show.

ITA, he is SOOO funny. I loved the part when he borrowed the old man's scooter and was whizzing through the airport...and when he got on the plane he was so sweaty and the look on his face was so funny.
