So far so cool. Anyone one else wanna guess what that creature is? At first with all the trees falling down around the crash site it made me think of Stephen Kings Langoliers.
The other thing that comes to mind is that invisible energy creature from Johnny Quest.
Everyone was getting scared and I kept thinking to myself "watch it turn out to be something harmless" I thought that until the one pilot got yanked out of the cockpit and got killed

I think that the yellow lab is the young boy's dog. Didn't his dad say something like "it's not Vincent" to his kid when the trees started falling down? That's the only thing that I can think of.

Remember the TV series The Lost World? This is what I think this is, too. I think they're on a forgotten island. Just my silly guess. Looks pretty good so far!

Alright..I have to admit. I was only watching this cuz Dominic Monaghan (LOTR) was in it. *mm...Dommy love...*

But it scared the pee outta me! Sometimes the things you CAN"T see are scarier than the things you CAN see.


As for what the thing is..I'm placing my bets on a giant ape.

I missed the first 20 minutes but it reminded me of Land of the Lost (from the 70's)--Did they go thru some sort of time warp when they crashed?

Did they show them before the crash?

I am so excited to see Matthew Fox back on a tv show. Love him!! I thought he did an amazing job too.

The opening scenes were so disturbing. Can only imagine what will happen next...

I liked it too....I hadn't planned on watching it, but I was flipping channels and found myself intrigued! I was practically hyperventilating during the scene with the pilot!! I can't wait until next week

Seems like a good show (which means it will be cancelled by the middle of November, if not sooner), but I didn't get to see it all. I had to catch it in bits as I had a couple of phone calls during the show. Hoping to see the whole thing next week

My kids think it's a dinosaur, but I'm not sure. I wonder what's up with the dog. Do you think the dog was on the plane?

I was slightly disappointed. I didn't really read the TIVO guide and didn't see that there was supposed to be a "creature". That just sort of ruined it for me. Other than the whole creature thing, it seems pretty good. I agree with whoever thinks that the dog is "Vincent" and belongs to that little boy.

Next weeks episode is part 2 of the pilot. Then they're replaying the whole pilot (2 hours) next Saturday (I think). So, if you missed it, you can see the whole thing again. Of course, I have to keep watching now because I have to find out what the creature is.

I liked it. Except that it should be shown later--it was way too graphic for 8:00 p.m.

8:00 to 9:00 is family tv time. We started watching it with my 8 year old grandson. It didn't last long. We quickly made the decision that this was too intense for him. I ended up watching it alone.

There was no warning about how gory the show is. Had there been, I would never have turned it on. I'm disappointed that ABC would air a show like this in the 8:00-9:00 timeframe. It needs to be shown at a later time.

I TIVO'd it and haven't watched, but I had to read the spoilers!! LOL It is the one show I have really been looking forward to since I saw the preview! I am hoping to watch it later tonight!

I liked it! EXCEPT the "monster" thing, that was soooo i dunno... dumb? Made everything less believable... But so far so good.
