LOST CAMERA AT EPCOT on 12/31.......

Just got back from our 7 day stay at Caribbean Beach (Jamaica building). We lost our camera we believe at Epcot, either at the camera shop, or by stroller return, or the Checker Cab Co. that took us from Epcot to MGM. A long shot, but if anyone knows about finding a black CANON G5 camera, I'd love to know. Our entire vacation was on it (appx. 500 pics). We are so upset; it was our son's first time at WDW and we have ZERO photos, other than the posed photos from CMs.

So sad..........

I lost my camera in the Magic Kingdom, I left it in the stroller when we returned it. I check the lost and found the next day and unbelievably someone had turned the camera in!! I hope you have the same luck.

At the beginning of Dec. I left my brand new digital camera in the back of the stroller when I returned it at MGM. I went to lost and found right away and left my name and number. Later that afternoon I called the lost and found and some honest person had turned it in. I was VERY grateful. I hope you have the same luck.

Epcot Lost and Found if it was lost today, (which it was not), (407) 560-7500 and 'All Parks' Lost and Found if lost earlier than today (which it was), (407) 824-4245 (9 AM-7 PM EST). Sure wish you my best in getting it back. I would say WDW is the best place if you ever have the unfortunate experience of losing something, they are good at getting it back; I have heard many good stories, as above.

oh I feel for you big time. But loosing something at WDW is a good thing. IT usually always turns up. I lost my entire camera bag, well I should say my mom. She took the stroller with the baby back for a nap and DH didn'tstrap the strap around the stroller and at some point it fell off. We didn't know until about 6 hours later when we all met up and I wanted the bag...needless to say I was soooo upset....we just had DS first hair cut done on main street POOF GONE! Went to lost and found nothing....
next morning we called the main lost and found station and there it was! It fell off on the boat! Everything we there,,,,unused film, camcorder, tapes sunscreen..etc...
Needless to say now we travel very light!
So call the numbers Dan gave you if you lost it at Disney chances are it is there..
Oh we also lost one of those mobil walkie talkie things...again it was at the lost and found....

Definitely call them. We also once lost our camera, on the monorail of all places, but it was turned in. Be ready to have specific info about the camera ready so that they can verify that it is yours (e.g. brand and model #, probably nothing too specific).

I wish you lots of pixie dust in getting your camera back! I hope to never lose my camera, but just as a precaution, I stuck a return address label on the bottom of it. I figure if someone finds it, it will be easier to identify and return. I have also done this on the film canisters when on vacation.

I lost a brand new digital camera in the Magic Kingdom and did not get it back.I know exactly where I put it down. At the pressed penny machine near the end of the Snow White ride. I went back for it about 15 -20 minutes later. The CM at the register said that it had been turned in and someone came and claimed it. Apparently, someone had seen it being turned in and took advantage of the opportunity. The good news was that it was the last day of our vacation and we had been emptying the camera into the laptop every night. So, we only lost one day's worth of pictures. I hope you have better luck then we did!
