CAn someone tell me where the lost and found is in MK?Is it in City hall?We have lost glasses before in MK but never thought of looking for them in the lost and found.I am sure we will loose a pair of glasses next time there so figure we better know where it is in case this happens.Do they have a big box of glasses or do u have to tell them what kind ur looking for or just search through them urself. My husband loose his mind going through all them s oit would be me to look for them.

Why not buy some inexpensive glasses strings (that go around your neck) for the trip? Beats digging through lost and found or having to replace a pair.

If you lose something just ask a CM how to contact Lost and Found and they will give you a number. Just FYI though dh lost a pair at WDW once and they were never found. My niece did lose a cap and we filled out a form w/a description and eventually they did find it and mailed it back to us :goodvibes . I actually think they only keep found items in the park for maybe a day? and then they are sent to a central facility so I doubt there will be a pile of things to look thru.

I agree though - better just buy a string to hang them around your neck or a case you can attach to yourself to put it in. I got dh a neoprene case w/zipper closure with a clip on one end at the Dollar tree and he will clip that to our bag or a belt loop. So there's a few ways to keep track of these things. After spending $100+ to replace that pair he doesn't want a repeat experience.

As you are walking from the MK parking lot to the ticket area the lost and found is on the right next to (it maybe same building, I can't remember) where the kennel is.

Good luch on the search for anything
my baby zoie tossed her hat in epcot.. did not show up at their lost and found.
tracked over to mk, and never showed up there either.
so much stuff in their bins to go thru:hippie: :3dglasses :headache:

We lost a pair of DS's sunglasses once on BTMRR. He has a large head so it's hard to find glasses that fit him properly LOL. IF they are found on the attraction, they are sent to Town Hall. After a few hours/by the end of the day they are sent over to the central Lost & Found which is located in the Kennel at the T&TC (like PP mentioned).

We tried Town Hall, no luck. The next day, we tried the Kennel/Lost & Found. The CM asked us what they looked like....umm they were black sunglasses, kind of hard to get more specific :lmao: He brought out a big box of them from just the previous day frmo just the MK, but there were not as many as we would have thought. Unfortunately, his weren't there. The CM was really nice though and gave him a new pair of Buzz Lightyear ones :goodvibes

DS actually thought it was one of the highlights of that trip! :lmao: He got to see the inside of the kennel (somewhere we ordinarily wouldn't have gone!), saw and pet one of the Sheriff dept's K-9 dogs and got a new pair of cool glasses...quite the adventure for a then 4 year old :)

My cousin is a cast member and she said that after a certain amount of time (at least with strollers) if people do not pick them up that the cast members can buy them for a $1.(i think 30 days) From what I understood they have a place where they keep ALL lost and found items in each park. So I think they only keep them above ground in the park for about a day and then they are in some room somewhere.

My stepfather bought framed prints for each of my daughters at Epcot on our last trip in March, and accidentally laid them down and forgot them on a bench when we stopped for funnel cakes. He realized two hours later that they were missing, but when we went back to search for them they were long gone. We thought that was the end of them, but filed a report with lost and found in the park just in case they turned up. Lo and behold, when we called back the next day they advised that they had indeed been turned in and that we could pick them up at the central lost and found facility in the kennels building at MK. We were very impressed with the efficiency of the service, and very grateful that an honest person had turned them in.:)

If an item is lost is the parks the next day they are brought to the Ticket and Transportation Center at their central lost and found, which is either in or next to the Kennel. When my husband lost his glasses they asked him which day and which park and they brough out a tray labelled with the day and the date. Last year my DD lost a new disney charm necklace filled with charms, she left it in the stroller when we returned it at night. The next day we went to the lost and found and they had a bunch of disney necklaces all in little baggies, but not hers. It is a very efficient and orderly system, however both times I had no luck finding my item.
