Loose change for Disney World!

You know, now that I think about this thread, it reminded me of a HUGE jug of coins sitting near the kitchen, It used to be in a gigantic plastic coin-coke bottle years ago, but we ran out of room and used a water cooler jug. Now that is full too, and it's starting to collect dust, so I need to see what all's in there. Could be $100, could be $300. Dunno till we count it (and by 'we' I mean the bank's coin counting machine, because there's no way in Hades I'm counting THAT! )

My last Disney popcorn bucket of change (no pennies, those I give to my mom for her 5gallon water bottle) was 300 which I've already pulled out of savings for my fall trip. The current bucket is over half full haven't decided whether or not to turn it in or just keep saving.

I also got two 50 dollar reward cards (BoA) from work for participating in Healthy Living programs so I turned those into Disney cards to spend at FandW for booze and other non-healthy food items

I also pet sit for some friends occasionally and that money goes into my bucket so that's another $400.

I am an admited change hoarder. I just love to see it add up and then use it for something fun.

I do have a smaller container that I throw my change into before it goes to the big bucket. I look at all the coins before adding it to my money. Never know when you'll find a pre 1964 dime or quarter.

My two youngest grabbed the change their Dad left around the house. One has $25 for Disney and the other has $35. Change can really add up!

My parents put all their quarters in a penny bank and gave it to my dd when she was 6 years old to put in her college fund. There was over $500 in there!
