Loop Fax ?

I have just read on a post that you can fax a request! Does this really work?Can you give me the number and how early or late can you do this we are going on April 14. ( I posted a thread a week ago deciding whether to go again in Nov, or April, I guess April won out!!!) We were only able to get partial hookup because it was the only thing available. When we went in Nov. o7 we had loop 800 we loved it we will have a golf cart so what loops are my choices with a partial and what should I ask for. I have a DD 2, DD14, DS 12 we might go swimming but not sure we will def. go to campfire.

Hi! I read a little more and got the fax number.: But if could still answer my ? about the partial hookup loops. I have read lots about the pref. and full but not partial. Thank you all

There are only two partial hook-up loops- 1500 or 2000. 1500 is a small loop, and it is in a better location in terms of convenience to the pool and campfire area. Because it is a small loop, you have less chance of being assigned to it, but it never hurts to ask. The 2000 loop is generally quieter, and the sites are typically bigger than on the 1500 loop. With younger children, I would definitely recommend the 1500 loop to you. But, as I said, it is a small loop, so do not have your heart set on being assigned there.

Thank You, should I still fax a request or take my chances? Is 2000 really far away from everything? I will be happy no matter what I will be at The FORT AND DISNEY!!!!! I just like to be prepared and know what to expect.

I'll be honest, I have never faxed my request. I just state it on my ressies when I call. I have gotten what I request, however know that it isn't garaunteed. And, I'm not overly picky. When I call I say this loop or this loop. And I give them what I'm looking for, something close to the marina, but also easy to get to the Meadows. It always works out for me. Also, is the pool going to be open then? I thought it was going to take longer.... I could be making that up though. Well there is still the little pool by the cabins and the WL pool. Remember you can't take your cart there though. Unless you have "special privledges"(Tungpo, Donnie... )

Just went back to read on the pool-they are thinking mid April. Maybe you will luck out and be one of the first to try it out! Have fun!

I have stayed in the 2000 loop, and it is further away from things than the 1500 loop, but it isn't that bad. I would fax a request-you have nothing to lose. Ask for the 1500 loop, and then ask, if that is not available, to be placed on the outside of the 2000 loop in the area of the sites in the 2020's. That will put you near one of the two comfort stations in the 2000 loop, and a tether-ball court (which your kids might like) and a "secret" bridge that can provide you with quick access to the Meadow Trading Post. Remember, though, that loop assignments cannot be promised, and you may not have any of your requests granted. You won't know until you get there. Any site in the Fort is great, so if you get something you asked for, great, if not, it is still great.

We stayed at 2021 last year. Right in front of the comfort station. We loved it.
Where is this 'secret' bridge you're talking about? Or is it a secret...?

The secret bridge is right behind the outside sites at this part of the loop. It ain't much to look at:

This will take you across the canal to the area outside the 2500 loop. From here, you can walk over to the 1000 loop, and either walk between sites, or to the area of the comfort station between 900 and 1000, and you will be right across from the Meadow Trading Post.

This could save you a lot of walking.
