Looking for unique places to eat in Vegas

Try the Aureole inside Mandalay Bay. It is an upscale french/american restaurant with a four story glassed in wine tower/cellar that harness clad 'wine angels' ascend and repel to fetch your bottle. One of the most photographed spots in Vegas.

Yah, I've heard of this place, we are definitely gonna check it out!

Or the Voodoo Lounge at the ROOF of the Rio.

I checked that out on their website and all I can say is OH My! That place looks out of control.  Maybe we'll stop by after we have a few drinks. :teeth:

Top of the world at Stratosphere (a bit pricey) but amazing views.

The Star Trek restuarant in Las Vegas Hilton - out of this world - literally!!

I think we'll make our one expensive dinner be Top of the world, that sounds way cool. DH is a big Star Trek fan so we are going to see the "Star Trek Experience" so we may as well do lunch there. Thanks for the info!

There are many many great places to eat in Vegas, when we go we just stop and eat wherever looks good at the time, it's really hard to plan meals when you're going from resort to resort, while you're checking out resorts, walk by the restaurants and check the menu and ambiance and see if it suits you ! I remember years ago we stopped at this beautiful place for steak and Lobster and you got to take a picture with the biggest lobster they had, the lobster I took a pic with was about half of me !! :scared:

Seriously the Burger Bar at Mandalay Place (the mall between Luxor and Mandalay) is out of control. You have to go there! Not super expensive (unless you order the 60 dollar kobe beef/black truffle with lobster burger), but super fun.

You basically build your own burger, the options are wild, the sides and shakes are great. The best part: the chocolate burger:

Other good places: Mon Ami Gabi at Paris, otside seating overlooking the Bellagio fountains, really good food.
Red Square and RumJungle at Mandalay restaurants (russian and carribean respectively) slash night clubs with super fun decor, great drinks and reasonably good food

The very first place we go to eat every trip to Las Vegas is The California Pizza Kitchen at the Mirage. It has the most wonderful pizza ever and if you like Caesar salad, their's is absolutely yummy. We are headed out there in three weeks and I can't wait.

The buffet at Paris for breakfast is not to be believed. The crepes are outstanding. If you eat there don't plan on eating again for the rest of the day. The dinner buffet also has crab legs that are very good. They are split open for you so there's hardly any work involved in eating them.

ITA! I LOVE the breakfast buffet at Paris! It is a definate must from now on!!! I also LOVE the Spice Market Buffet at the Aladdin. Both are unique for Vegas and memorable experiences!!!

I believe that there is a restaurant at the top of the Stratosphere that is supposed to be pretty good (and what an awesome view!!!)

:drinking1 There's a brew pub in the Monte Carlo that we really enjoyed.
Great appys and pub type food. You can get other beers besides the ones they make. I liked the Las Vegas Lite. Never gets too crowded in there either. The Monte Carlo is sorta next to NYNY and across from the MGM Grand.

We have eaten at Quarks and it was great. Another good meal is the Excalibur Casino Jousting Dinner.

This gets my vote too! The best food we had in Vegas and a great view. The Stratosphere also has a great view, but the food wasn't as good.
