We'll be there in late March. We will have the "standard view," and have requested a king-bed room.

Does anyone have any info to share on the rooms with this view, or the king-bed rooms? I'm sure it will be wonderful. I'm just starting to get excited and the only photos I've seen so far have been of the rooms with the bunkbeds!

Thanks guys! :)

Dodie - If I can EVER figure out how to post a picture link, I will post pictures of the courtyard view (standard). We had a room with two queen size beds. The room size was about 300 square feet. Our room was on the 3rd floor almost directly above where the monorail passed through the hotel. From the left side of the balcony we had a little view of Downtown Disney.

You will have a GRAND time. Any other questions, ask away. :D

I can't think of any specific questions to ask Tink33, but I am curious as to the decor in the rooms, the amenities, etc.

Has anyone stayed in a king bed room yet?

Thanks! :D

Don't have king bed info but I'm working to finish up the resort and room # map. I'm about 1/2 done and when I've got them plugged in I'll post a link here on the DIS

Dodie, the rooms are done very tastefully with designs that match EVERYTHING...the carpet, the wallpaper, the bedding...the attention to detail is amazing in this hotel! It's all done in a Craftsman style...wish I could describe it in a way that would do it justice!

There is a double sink area outside the bathroom, with a shelf above with a coffemaker. The room will also have a hair dryer, iron and ironing board, and the toiletries provided (shampoo, soap, etc.) seemed very nice as well. The closet doors have full-length mirrors, there is a safe inside the closet, and a large TV in an armoire next to the clost. Also inside the armoire is a high-tech minibar that automatically KNOWS when you take something out and charges you for it (so don't take something out and put it back!).

I hope that helps! If you have any other questions, post away! :)
