I would love to know if you take any vitamins, (or diet pills  ), that give you energy? I am getting ready to start WW (& probably Dr. Phil's program!), and am trying to plan ahead.

Too bad I'm not strong enough to follow the Atkin's plan, because I always feel great when I'm on it!

Thanks!

I do take a multivitamin. I think that is a good idea any time you are on a weight loss plan. No diet pills for me, though. I tried one of those herbal diet pills one time and I felt awful while I was taking it!! :(

Another thought----I have found that increasing my exercise has done wonders for my energy level!! It was a slow beginning for me because I hadn't done any real exercise in 20 years or more. It's funny, I guess you have to spend a little energy to get energy!!:D

I take a multivitamin, but to be quite honest I feel it is the change in my diet that has given me the extra energy that I now have. Now that I am making healthier choices regarding what I put in my body and exercising far more than I did before I have all kinds of energy.

Good luck with WW. There are lots of WISHers who do WW, so if you have any questions just ask and I know that somebody will be able to help you.

Another vote for exercise. I always feel like such a sludge when I don't work out. It just pumps you up for the whole day. I don't take vitamins, but when I get a little draggy during the day, I blend up a cup of orange juice and a few frozen strawberries for some quick energy.

Thanks everyone! I guess I will be sure to take my multi's! Don't know about the exercise part though, I'm worried now how I'm going to fit it in my schedule. I'm crazy enough just chasing my 2yo dd around!! ;) (don't get me wrong, I know that I NEED to exercise & I'm really going to try to do it!! :Pinkbounc )

Thanks for the responses! I'm getting really excited about this! :)

I also take a multi-vitamin (acutally I take a kids chewable). I also agree that the exercise and eating healthier foods has done wonders for giving me energy.

As far as not having time............you must make the time for yourself. Trust me, I know it's not easy. Most nights I am exercising between 10-12pm. I work full time, have 2 kids, coach cheerleading (had to give up being a girl scout leader (was for 5 years). We have a gazzillion practices (3-4 times a week) games each week, competition coming up. Football practices for my son, gymnastics. School, homework, my WW's meeting's. It never ends. This year, I did tell the other cheer coaches, that on Monday nights I can only be there for a half an hour. I go to my WW's meetings then. Last year, I didn't go and ended up gaining almost all of the 37 pounds I lost. Moral of the story is that you must make time for yourself. I know that it seems like you don't have time. Include your 2 year old. She will benefit from seeing you exercise. I wish I would have made time for myself back when mine were little.

Good luck,
Melanie
