What we are looking for is one additonal non-Epcot restaurant to make an ADR for. We will be staying at AKL & CSR from 12/17 thru 12/26. We already plan to make ADR's at the following:

Boma
Le Cellier
Marakesh
Tepanyacki
'Ohana
Cape May
50's Prime Time

Any suggestions on a Non-Epcot restaurant would be appreciated.

IF you're going to be in the Magic Kingdom, I think you should try for CRT for Dinner!!

You're staying at AKL, how about Jikos?

California Grill?
The Flying Fish?
The Brown Derby?

Your others sound great!

We considered HOB. How's the food?

We also considerd Bongo's in DTD

My faves...

Cinderella's Royal Table (if you've never done this, it's just too DISNEY...eating in a castle!)

The Brown Derby (MGM)...always had outstanding service and food is fresh.

And a friend said "Artist Point" at WL was phenomenal...and she's way way picky. She didn't like CG at CR or Narcoosee's...but loved AP...I hear the decorations at WL are wonderful...so it would give you a chance to take in all that, too!

Have a great time!

How about Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom? Great buffet selection, a separate one for the kids. Added bonus is Winnie the Pooh and friends.

Resort wise we have been to Cape May at the BC, Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary and the buffet at Ft. Wilderness.

So many places, so many choices, just not enough time or meals in the day!

We just got back yesterday and enjoyed Mama Melrose and Kona Cafe.

You cannot possibly stay at AKL without going to either Jiko's or Boma!

Great suggestions...thanks everyone. I noticed both Mama Melrose and Brown Derby were mentioned. Of those two which would you recommend and why?

I castly prefer the Brown Derby, although I don't like my Cobb Salad that chopped, really pulverized. The food is good the atmosphere is upscale without being stuffy and the waiters are better dressed than the patrons!

We've been to Brown Derby once and plan to take friends there in Dec. It is simply a wonderful meal with all the perks described above and some really good food. I'm not a fan of the Cobb salad, but everything else on the menu, from fish to steak, was prepared perfectly. And all four of us really enjoyed the grapefruit cake!

That said, I've never been to Mama Mias, certainly do read very good reviews, and we'll get there someday!

Whispering Canyon @ The Wilderness Lodge
Liberty Tree Tavern's Turkey dinner would be great during the holidays
House of Blues has great food, great music and a great atmosphere
