We are 26 days from our 2nd ever family trip to Disney World. We are DW, DS (9), DDS (twins 6) and me. I do most of the planning and my wife enjoys watching me work through the process. We are in the very fun planning stage and looking for some information on restaurants. We are considering both Alfredo di Roma - (Dinner) and Akershus (Princess Dinner) and would love to hear opinions and comments. One of our girls loves Jasmine princess: and there is a good chance that she appears at Akkershus. We are planning on doing the Princess Dinner at 1900 and we have never done Chef Mickeys :earsboy: for breakfast and this is on our list. We will be at Disney World from 1/27 - 2/04 and welcome comments and suggestions for restaurant choices. :earsboy: :earsgirl:

Jasmine is seen in Morocco pavilion - they have a character meet and greet daily. You can check the boards at Epcot for times and if you ask they can tell you what specific time Jasmine appears. She appears with Aladdin. The character breakfast if so much fun for little princesses. We have eaten there 2 times. Neither time have we seen Jasmine. We always find her tucked away in Morocco.

Don't go to too many princess meals. When our son was 9 he got very embarrassed and wasn't much fun.

Here are some of our faves:

Whispering canyon @WL, anytime is good, but we like breakfast best.

Liberty Tree Tavern @ MK for dinner. Best characture interaction in all of WDW.

We really enjoyed Crystal Palace breakfast on our last trip, slightly better buffet fare.

Mama Melrose @ MGM. We've had lunch there twice, but of the 3 for the Fantasmic package, this is the best choice, easily.

Cape May Cafe @ BC for dinner. Great seafood buffet.

Hoop Dee Doo Revue @ FW. Its a splurge, but its worth every penny.

I ate at Akershus in Oct, and I thought some of the food was very good, while some of it was mediocre. I didn't like my entree, the lamb, or the ham that was on the cold buffet.

The characters were good though, Jasmine was there, as well as Belle, Snow White, Aurora, and Ariel.

Akershus food is Devine..it just so happens that the princesses and me are the only F4 Fans :( Chef Mickeys is good too ..i love making my own dishes..Do i recall Plutos Suprize :earboy2:
