Looking for opinions about Hboy2??

I don't know where to put this but it's mommies&dads opinions I'm looking for so... My DD10 really wants to see this movie and she has seen the first one on tv and there really wasn't anything that bad about it, so (boy, I blather on ) would you take your child to see it or if you've already seen it was there any mushy stuff in it, cause she's not big on that. The trailers look good! I would really appreciate any opinions, thank you~

Well I know I want to see it. I don't know if I would let my DD see it I think its rated PG 13.Just because of the violence etc. I went to see the Hulk and there were a few scenes I wouldn't want a 10 yr old to see.

We are empty nesters and went to see Hellboy last night.. I couldn't believe that I was going to see a movie with that title. I knew nothing about the first movie, but DH wanted to go. We don't go to see demon type movies and he assured me that this was not that type. It wasn't a demon type movie, just more along the lines of Hulk and the other comic book type of movies. It was nothing like the Elm Street or slasher movies of which I have only seen previews on TV.

We recently saw Spiderman2, Hulk, WallE, and Ironman. Ironman was better than Hb.

We just took our DS's to see it tonight. Our DS's are 9 & 10, and they loved it. DS9 has Autism Spectrum Disorder and there were parts that he found too loud. He has that problem at any movie with any action in it, so it wasn't just this movie. Both of my boys hate mushy stuff, and they didn't think it was too mushy. I think if he likes the first one, he will like this one. There were a few of the monsters in it that scared DS9. I just reminded him that they were just drawn by a person on a computer or a person in a costume and he was fine, and then he would hide himself in his t-shirt.

When that song came on my DS9 leaned over to me and whispered, "Mommy, I'm scared." I said, "It's just Barry Manilow babe, there is nothing scary about him."
