I've been reading everything I can find online, but since some posts have VB instead of Vero Beach, I'm having trouble with the search function giving information easily. So, I decided to post here asking for any input.
We are heading to Vero after a few days at WDW. I read the info in the Mickey Monitor about passholder rates, but unfortunately the nights we wanted were unavailable
. Well, I wanted to go so badly, I went ahead and booked without the AP rate!
Now I am trying to gather as much information as possible (I am a hopeless planner and love to find out all the details before a trip!)
I am hoping that this will be the relaxing vacation that dh wants (after the MK visit that I want!), and from what I've read it sounds like Disney's Vero Resort is very laid-back!
I'm interested in knowing if the character breakfast is offered other days besides Sat. Has anyone been to it? Is it worthwhile?
What about the mini golf - I saw something about a flat rate for a week's worth of golf - any price idea for a non DVC member? Is that for 7 days? What about a shorter stay?
What about the restaurants? Would you recommend any in particular - at the resort and outside of the resort? Do you prepare meals in your room instead?
What is the likelihood of an ocean view with a studio?
I'm dying for details, so feel free to tell me everything you know!
Thanks!!!

That being said... Shutter's, Sonya's, and the Green Cabin Room are all good! Make sure to sit outside on the balcony of the Green Cabin Room for lunch and get a hamburger... You won't regret it...
