Looking for hotel for arrival night very close to Disney

Would love to hear recommendations of hotels very close to Disney. We'll be heading in late the night before our vacation starts. We don't want to pay to stay on property for that night due to getting in so late. Also, the day we'll arrive is the last day of the spring discount. If we stay on property, we're afraid that will prohibit us of getting the summer discount that we hope will start the next day (our first day at Disney) for the rest of our vacation (we've ran into this problem on our last trip). We would like to stay at a place that's clean but doesn't have to have a lot of bells and whistles as we'll only be there for sleeping one night. We would like it to be close, so that we can head out early the next day at Disney to maximize our first day at the parks. Thanks for the help!

I've stayed at Raddisson lake buena vista and that was just fine.... holiday inn resort was good too....Sheraton lake buena vista resort was nice too and all pretty close to Disney. I would priceline it and just choose 3 1/2 or 4 star or above and lake buena vista downtown disney area and you really can not go wrong!

We like the Clarion Inn Lake Buena Vista on Palm Parkway just across from the WDW entrance near Downtown Disney. They have a great breakfast buffet that you can often get included in a package and all of their rooms were recently renovated. They also accept pets in one building if that is a consideration for or against. Very friendly staff there.

I would use hotwire for dtd Disney area. Anything 3* is going to be nice and the location is where you want to be.
