Looking for help figuring out which Xbox to buy

I was in Gamestop yesterday and saw "the thing" otherwise known as the "Kinect". Looks expensive. I will not be getting that for awhile.

Kinect is the reason why my wife finally put her foot down and insisted we get an Xbox.

I would highly suggest watch the demonstration of the Kinect at the different events. It's all over the internet. Just start with the E3 demo, I'm sure other videos will appear as well on youtube. They've got a long way to go before it should launch.

So Microsoft bashers say. I've seen the videos, and more importantly I've seen what many people have been saying in response to the videos, and most of it is desperate reaching for some way to satisfy the critic's petty bloodlust against Microsoft. It's pityful.

Kinect is a new product. Will it get better? Surely. Yet it is good enough now.
