What’s for Dinner Tonight?

We went to STK happy hour today and got tater tots, short rib quesadillas, and the STK burger with fries. Excellent food, excellent service and very reasonably priced!

Last night I ate dinner with my MIL in her new apartment (that happens to be in our basement ). She still has stuff over at her house but most of it is here and she started staying here over the weekend. She had a rotisserie chicken and we had baked potatoes, peas and coleslaw.

Tonight I am making tacos (with ground turkey) when DH comes home from work.

Today was our first Epic Universe day. For lunch, I went to Mead Hall and had Hiccup's Grilled Salmon.

My boyfriend got a PB&J mac and cheese cone from Spit Fyre grill and joined me at Mead Hall.

For dinner, we went to The Blue Dragon. We both ordered the Beef Xi'an Noodles.

We got stuff to make tacos, so we're doing that tonight. And we have friends coming to town to stay with us this weekend. We're doing homemade pepperoni pizzas tomorrow, then we're going out for her birthday on Saturday night after she and DW get tattoos that afternoon.

That sounds good (well, not the chili part as I don't like chili). We've got a whole 5 pound bag of potatoes that I bought 2-1/2 weeks ago. I need to get to using them before they start going bad.

We eat loaded baked potatoes fairly often. I usually load them with bacon bits, shredded sharp cheddar cheese & a little butter. Green onions are added, when we have them. A couple weeks ago we wanted something different, so I thawed out some chili to give that a try. It was surprisingly good.

My one day in the office because of bad weather this week went as you would expect, so I was late leaving. I grabbed Moe’s. They had a special today. Burrito, queso, and a soda so I got that. I had a black bean burrito.

Last dinner in WDW at Via Napoli. We had bruschetta and a large pizza, half meatlovers, half quattro formaggi. Great last meal!

Today was our Volcano Bay day. For lunch, we went to Kohola Reef Restaurant and Social Club. I had the Lava Chicken Sandwich (I asked for no bacon) with fries and my boyfriend had a bacon cheeseburger.

We went to Orchid Court Lounge at Royal Pacific Resort for dinner. We each had a bowl of miso soup and we split four sushi rolls.


PHILADELPHIA ROLL -
Salmon, cream cheese, avocado

SPICY TUNA ROLL -
Tuna tossed with sesame, red tobiko, sriracha, chili pepper, avocado

DYNAMITE ROLL -
Tuna, yellowtail, topped with shrimp, avocado, eel sauce, spicy mayo

CRAB RANGOON ROLL -
Crab mix, cream cheese, avocado, bell pepper, topped with smoked salmon, masago, tempura flakes, eel sauce

It was also our anniversary so they gave us a card and balloons and a dessert that I don't know the name of. It was like a really creamy cheesecake with a layer of powdered chocolate and whipped cream on top. It was delicious!
