Looking for Haunted Hayride info!

Hi...I'm new to the boards, and overwhelmed with the sheer volume of information I can find here! I wasn't sure where to post this question, because it's not really theme-park related, but thought this might be the most general area?

Anyway, I've heard about the Haunted Hayride at Fort Wilderness, and was considering doing this on our upcoming trip. I've heard a little about it and the dates it's offered, but haven't found out what time(s) it will be held. Does anyone know? I see they began this weekend – has anyone taken one yet?

I understand that you have to travel to the FW Kennels to get tickets on the day of the ride. I was considering going on the Halloween holiday itself. Do you think those tickets will sell out? I'd hate to drive all the way over there (from AKL) that morning to find out they were all gone already.

Also, do you think it's worth the drive all the way over just for the ride?

It's been a couple years since we went on the Haunted Hayride. But IMHO it's worth it. The difference here is we had a group of 9. And our dramatic DIL made the ride even more fun. You might try the Camping at Disney board. There is a thread there that may help.
