Looking for Epcot Flower and Garden Show Info

Hi all -- does anyone have any information on the Flower and Gardern show typically held each year? I'm wondering if this is a Disney package deal only, or if you can book the room by itself and then sign up for the activities. Also looking for this year's dates. Any help would be appreciated.

The Flower and Garden show is a free 'event'. Epcot goes all out with topiaries, brilliant flower displays, lots of horticulturists on hand to answer questions, and some special hands-on activities, many of them geared towards children. It really is Epcot at it's most beautiful.

"Flower Power" is also held during that time, and you'll be treated to big name 60's and 70's bands giving free concerts at the American Gardens Theater. There are also tours available (for a fee) and I believe there's a breakfast or dinner held during that time as well (again, for a fee). But for the most part, you Epcot admission is all that's needed to enjoy the Flower and Garden show.

Particularly, the Brunch among the flowers. Has anyone been to this? Is it worth the money? How about with two kids?

MouseSavers newsletter for January stated the show opens this year on Friday, April 25. It will be the 10 year anniversary of the event and plans are to have the 100 best topiarys from the last 10 years on display. The newsletter did not list who the music groups would be. Sorry I don't remember the closing date.
