Looking for "Don't Miss" things in Lancaster PA

We are headed to Lancaster tomorrow for a fun day trip. I'm looking for "Don't Miss" things to do. We are heading to the Pottery barn and QVC outlets. Should be fun. I just moved into our new house and would love to find a place to get good deals on furniture if anyone knows any...

The Sight and Sound Theater is amazing!!! We've seen 2 different shows there and were just in awe!

I get out to the Lancaster area quite a bit. We all love Shady Maple Smorgasbord. The Kitchen Kettle Village on Rt. 340 is nice, has a lot of little shops, and there are a lot of samples in the Jam and Jelly shop. The ice cream there is awesome although I prefer to go to the Lapp Valley Farm itself, they make the ice cream. You get to see the cows and calves, they make the ice cream from the milk the cows on the farm give. We've even seen them milk the cows. Rockvale Square Outlets has a lot of shops including a Disney Outlet. For furniture there is an outlet on Rt 10, that has a lot of furniture fairly reasonable I think. I could be wrong but I think its called the Morgantown Outlet Mall. Have fun, I love it there.

I am in Lancaster right now - in the AmishView Inn and Suites. Lovely hotel - this is the first time staying here. Every time we go to Lancaster, we take a drive to Hayloft Candles. There is a large petting farm, and candle store with home made icecream. It is very reasonable and good icecream. I was in the QVC store today, and was very disappointed. It was a bunch of junk. We did find some good buys in Banana Republic and Gap.

We ate at Millers last night, but in my opinion, I like the Bird-in-Hand restaurant's buffet better. It is a better deal, and we always enjoy it. Either way, you come out stuffed.
