We are going at the end of January and I was wondering if someone who has been could give me more details.

I think I saw a picture where it looked like there was a red carpet. Is there? Is it outside or inside the gates?

Any particular activity you really enjoyed? I see each land has it's own things going on.

Thanks for the info. We are getting so excited!

P.S.I read and looked at the PPP webpage, so I know most of the details. Just looking for insider info and opinions!

I have a question too. What page are you referring to about the PPP, and what ages would the PPP be for? Thanks!!

The PPP is AWESOME! DH and I went on our anniverary trip last Feb, and we had a blast. We'd go again in a heartbeat!!

I don't remember the red carpet, but that's not to say it wasn't there. It was cold (about 40 or so) and pouring the rain when we went, but it was still a blast!

The party is for all ages. DH and I were 30 and 31, and we loved it! There were a lot of kids dressed as their favorite princess or pirate, and they seemed to love it as well. The parade is great, and the fireworks are NOT to be missed!

We went in August. It was me, DH, DS(4), and my mother. We had a ball. Yes, there is red carpet as you walk under the tunnel to main street.

They have treasure hunts. You get a map and a treasure bag as you walk in. The treasure stops are candy, beads, etc. In Fantasyland (at Ariel's Grotto) and in Tomorrowland (at COsmic Rays) there were dance party's going on. At the Fantasland one the kids got a chance to dance with Flounder and Sebastian. At the Tomorrowland one there were Lilo and Stitch, Chip & Dale. Pluto and Goofy dressed as pirates in Adventureland for photo ops. Mickey dressed as a pirate and Minnie dressed as princess for Photo Ops. They have several showings of the Capt. Jack Pirate Tutorial.

The fireworks and the parade were great. The crownds were minimal. Peter Pan was less than a 10 minute wait, Everything else was pretty much a walk on.

DS had a ball (the grown ups did too;) ) and he made it to the end. We left at 11:45 and he was still raring to go (until we got on the boat back to WL, where he promptly fell asleep:rotfl2: )

The only complaint I had about the whole night was that they did not have many of the stands/CS places open and it was difficult to find something to drink.

Otherwise I highly recommend the P & P Party.

Hope this helps!

Do adults dress up for this too? Can pirates bring swords or guns into the park? don't want to pack them if they aren't allowed in.

There were some adults dressed when we were there in August. I saw lots of kids with swords and hooks. Didn't see any adults with them...
