Kara- I really like the polka dot one. The black and red one is cute too I just think it reminds me of step jewish grandma's bathroom. She loved shoes and had them everywhere. She would have loved that.

Cammie- Feel better. I can't wait to read your TR and will check out the other one. Tabitha has a Dis account I keep her password and she is only allowed to post while I am in the room. She has no clue what her password is and it makes me and my mother feel a bit better about her being on here.

Debbie- I agree this place makes it hard to not plan a trip, but I am glad you are still visiting your buds:hug:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: So true!!!! For some reason Ally is really stuck on this blue/brown combo - that's what she wants for her bedroom once we get her moved. So I wanted to do a blue/lime green/lavender bathroom to tie in the two bedrooms on either side. I may still do that and I think she'll love it either way.

That girl with the TR is cute. It looks like her parents are monitoring her TR, based on one comment she wrote "my dad made me write that." So that is comforting.

Tessa, the pancakes seem like what we call "flapjacks" here in the south - almost the same recipe - but like you said - thicker.

Our pancakes are like Tammies - sugar and vanilla too - yum... I need pancakes now. :lmao: :rotfl2: Oh, and they must be spread with butter too - lots of butter! :lmao: LOWFAT!

Kara - polkadot vote here. I like that you could change it up, etc. The others just look so old - not that she isn't mature, but I don't know, I just like the other and maybe use a shoe picture accent or something. :confused3

I'm trying not to walk around itching like a dog today. I called my hairdresser. She said she used a new shampoo on me too - the organic line - that I wouldn't buy because it had so much botanical stuff in it. :headache:

She asked was I sure I was allergic. Hummmm.... let me see.
1 - itchy
2- red
3 - rash
4 - hurts when I scratch
5 - only within 1 inch of hairline & on scalp
6 - driving me nuts.

Yep, pretty sure. :rotfl2: :lmao: So it is either red hair dye or the shampoo. She suggests next time we cut out the shampoo and see if it was they dye.

My thought.... UMMMM. How about we avoid BOTH! :confused3

I'm itching to death here! :scared1:

Hi all

My diet has come to a standstill again :sad2: i have very little willpower, Tessa if i wasn't going away in 4 weeks i would join you in yours, however i have 4 weeks to fit into clothes as can't afford to go buy new ones especially as the reason is because i am tooooo lazy (or greedy) to keep on my diet :headache:

I've had a sucky few days here i have been really down with a few things occuring, i do loove coming here and reading what you guys are doing i just haven't been on as been too down :sad2:

Cj had bl**dy nits AGAIN grgrgrggrgrgr drives me mad no matter what i do she still catches them, this is the first time since the summer but it still drives me mad :headache:

Anyway am trying to cheer myself up by thinking of my holidays .. first to Oklahoma in 4 weeks :woohoo: then WDW in Feb hahaha ages i know but it keeps me going for sure and we've decide we're going to do 2 1/2 weks .. can't do 3 becaus eof kids and school and 2 just isn't enough with all we have planned :rotfl:

Oh Erin, you know I can relate! I'm serious about the mayonnaise!!! Get the cheapest, oiliest mayo you can find. Slather her head in it and pile on top of her head. Put on a shower cap and let her sleep with it on. Rinse out in the morning, and those buggers will just fall out. This worked better than any of the medication I could find! And I've talked to other mothers who say it works better than the prescriptions too! And get a flea comb for dogs, too - that seems to work better than those itty bitty lice combs they sell at the store. And I loved to tease Ally that I was brushing her like a dog! :rotfl2:

But you so have my sympathy - that is just the worst thing!!! One of Ally's friends had them so bad, they had to cut her hair - then she got the "super bug" and nothing would kill them. She never did try the mayo but I bet it would have helped! The doctor finally told her mom to only wash her hair once a week. And to blow dry it and use hair spray every morning. The bugs can't latch on to the "oily" hair if it's not clean, and the blow dryer helps to get rid of them if they are there, and the hair spray keeps them from getting in.

As if my head wasn't itching enough!

Erin, seriously - I'm so sorry. I can't even begin to say anything from experience, but I have heard the mayo is the best thing ever.:confused3

I went and got some Benydril for tonight. :woohoo: Makes me sleepy so I'm waiting until tonight to take it. Hopefully this itching will stop.

I just feel bla today. BLA BLA BLA. :sad2:

Hope everyone is doing doing well. :flower3:

HI Girls!
Sorry about the bugs, Erin.

Lorrie, I saw your email about the color, then lost it. I'll go back to it.

Kara, I think you should tell Ally that we all decided she will have the polka dots!;)

I'm supposed to be watching Lost, but I'm in my office printing some things so I'm on the old computer while my laptop prints. We are doing a booth on Tuesday for a food show of some kind, and they need 800 gift certificates for goody bags by Friday! I'm only responsible for 200 of them, but I have to get them done tonight. They are printing 2 to a page, and then I have to cut them. I have to get up at 5:30 in the morning, too.

Lindsay and I had the 2nd heated "discussion" in two days - my heart is really hurting and so is hers. We need to get through the next 5 months, and I don't want us to lose our closeness after they move out, but we have all had enough! I hope we can work it out after they move. She said something about not being allowed to have an opinion while she lives here, which I have to say is sometimes true, because she acts like a 16 year old. I told her I don't feel welcome in my own home any more because she makes me feel like I annoy her just by being here, and I try to stay away.

Then Mark says, "Mom, you should feel like you can do what ever you want in your own home." Oh yeah, "turn down the TV - don't watch that show - don't talk so loud on the phone - its cold in here- yada yada yada.

Okay, thanks for listening. You girls are the best.:grouphug:

Now for a confession. I am DP. ;) I had a couple of glasses of wine while talking to a friend on the phone for way too long, and now I'm trying to type!:rotfl2: When I first started this at the top, I wrote "I'm in my office printing some tings..." :rotfl: When I was in the Bahamas, it was large as can be on the side of a building, "protect ya ting, use a rubber!" :rotfl2:

Okay I feel better now - Dang paper Jam! I'd better get! Have a happy Thursday everyone!

Tammie - I'm cracking up right now - "protect ya ting..." :rotfl2: I'm so sorry about Lindsey, I'm sure it's really hard on both of you. But it sounds like they take advantage of you too. Yes, you're trying to help them out while they finish school, but like Mark said, you shouldn't feel that way in your own home. I know I could never go back and live with my mother or MIL (we actually did stay with the inlaws for 2 months after we sold our firsthouse and we hadn't found a new house yet :scared: ). So I can only imagine how tough it is on everyone. Hang in there though. And protect ya ting! :lmao:

oooooh, Lost was so interesting last night!!!! OK, off to take Ally to school - I'm dropping off some Disney stuff for her teacher who is going down this weekend. Then home to do laundry and get Ally packed up for tomorrow. Jeff has a nasty cold right now so still not 100% sure they are going this weekend. Think I'll wait and pack tomorrow just to be sure.

Tammie - living with family is hard. SUPER HARD. And you are amazing for all that you have done. Some of what you guys are experiencing is normal I think. I understand your concerns so much about the closeness after they move out. She honestly is entitled to feel like things aren't quite her own, but then again, she honestly is a GUEST in your home. She needs to remember that too - as do you. YOUR HOUSE. You should try to live your life as normal as possible and she needs to be the one who who experiences any rumbles in the force.

You know, that is my big fear with Nicolas. It just seems that so much of your relationship with your son henges on their wife. :sad2: I DO NOT like that at ALL!

OFF TOPIC.... but I guess it is really on topic, since we have no topic :lmao:

For our trip, last night I just really started wondering if I shouldn't rent a car.
A 2 year old, a 5 year old, an impatient husband.

I know that for the "evening" at epcot, we'd probably do ME. But there will be early AM breakfasts - 3 - one at POLY, AK, EPCOT. It would be handy for that for sure. And then for ME.

We fly SWA, so we can do the luggage thing for the way down, but on the way back, we have to take our bags with us.

I like the idea of using Disney Buses because if we both want to have a drink - no big deal. Then again, we'll be on the bus with a sit & stand.

What do you guys think?

I totally think it depends on the son and his relationship with his parents. It's the same for girls and their relationships with their parents. I mean, Jeff has chewed out my dad before, and I just let them go. Same with me and Jeff's parents. Jeff doesn't get involved. Which is tough because sometimes I want him to back me up, but then again, I don't really back him with my family. Either way, we're both lucky - we do get along with our inlaws, even though we don't agree with everything they do. We both think we're adopted! :rotfl2:

You don't need a car. Just my opinion, but why would you want to battle the traffic, when you can sit back and relax for 15minutes on a bus with someone else driving? And we get lost driving around Disney anyway. Even with all the bazillion signs. So we park and don't touch our car again until we leave, and then we get lost trying to get to DTD like we do at the end of every trip.

Good Morning! Quick fly-by! I need to get Myles ready for school. Thanks for listening and for your comments!

Lorrie, I like your "we have no topic" comment! :rotfl2: Kind of reminds me of Seinfeld - all over the place! You don't need a car - but we're getting one because Jim complained about the bus so much last time, and sometimes we were downright miserable on the bus, so we felt like we would be happier with one. It is probably all a personality thing! Hard for us to let someone else be in charge!;)

Kara, I hope Jeff feels better- you are planning a GIRLS weekend!:goodvibes

JILLIAN! Are you :laundy: and packing?

Hi to everyone else - gotta go!

Jeff's parents wanted him to come next weekend instead of this weekend and he said he couldn't b/c we're going to Disney - their response? "Again?" :rotfl2: He told his dad this is the 2nd time that everyone has bailed on his golf weekend, so he's joining us for our girls weekend... again.

I told him no problem - every time he plans a golf weekend, Ally and I get our girls weekend at Disney. And when his plans fall through, ours stay and he gets to join us! :goodvibes So now he's talking about October for his next golf weekend. No problem, I think that might be a CBR trip, or POFQ. I'm hoping to do WL for Christmas - I've heard it's the prettiest resort at Christmas time!

I am so freakin depressed right now! I just got an email from the PTA president that our school district is getting a $43 million budget CUT next year. That will eliminate so many extracurricular activies. I am already disappointed in this school and this is going to make it intolerable.

Seriously, if Jeff gets the chance to move, I'm going to encourage it. Soooo diappointed in the schools here. I may need to check into private school.....

I think you should look into how cheap you can actually get the car for. My Mom HATES the buses so we always rent a car but I have gotten the cars for so cheap it has been insane. Just go to the transportation board and see what kind of codes are being thrown around over there. We always drive to the water parks, DHS and AK. My Dad drives so I don't have to worry about directions but not having to deal with strollers on a bus or my Mom and husband impatiently waiting for the bus has been worth the extra 200.00 bucks or less. Also, you do know that once you stay on Disney property all parking to all the places on property is free to you!

and THANK YOU again for my magic in the mail! You are a sweetheart!!!!!

Kara...I am sorry you are disapponited with Ally's school. That is a VERY big deal in your life at this point!
Jillian...your trip is so close. OMG I am still excited for you.
Hi Tammie!
