I"m SOLD on Sweet and Sassy!!! I almost cried while she was showing me around, just thinking about how fun it would be! Then I cried even harder when I saw the price!!!! $400 for 8 kids!!! They are running a special for $350 for 6 kids. That includes a 20 minute limo ride in the pink limo. Of course, I don't want the "Lights Glamour Limo" package which would be less. I want the Pop Star package (they get to karaoke and you get a DVD of the performance) and ADD the limo for an extra $100.

I guess that would be my winnings - more incentive to eat right and exercise for the next 2 weeks!!! But it would be so worth it! I'd give up the iphone for this.... seriously, it is that cute! Besides, I think I can work it and get the iphone for my bday.

So is is stupid to spend that much for a bday party? I can bring the cake and they have separate "cake rooms" and the whole party is about 2 hrs. First they all get up-dos, makeup, and nails done. Then they get to pick out a dress and boa and all the other stuff, strut their stuff on the "runway" complete with bright lights and everything. Then they get to karaoke together, then cake.

When we rented Sleeping Beauty, that alone was $150, plus $30 to rent the pavillion at the park, plus food and favors, I probably spent around $240 for that. And since she didn't have a party last year..... I'm totally justi5ying this in my mind.

Kara, I've been reading about AKL - you know to be proactive about staying in an area away from the construction? - right?

I figured you already knew, but I'd mention it. It was scheduled 200- - April 2009, but your dates are close to that, so I'd just make mention. Said some people were offered SSR because of the noise problems that would be in the AKL as they work on getting ready for AKVs. :confused3

Do you get a clipper magazine in the mail? The coupon type? Ours ALWAYS has coupons. I also have an entertainment 2009 book and I'm certain there is a coupon in there for it. I'll see if what I have is restricted to our locations... If not, I might be inclined to help a buddy out.. ;)

She told me there is a coupon in there but I just threw ours out yesterday - can you believe it??? it was for $25 off the limo! think i'm gonna go digging through the trash now....

Let me see what I have - I thought it was for more than that!

Well let's just say last night was a tough night. My Nephew was up all night sick the poor thing same as CJ both ends all over my bathroom. I felt so bad for him. Then just as he was down and asleep Luca decided he didn't want to sleep anymore :sad2: So I got a total of 2 hours sleep last night. Thank goodness my mother was off today and she took Luca at 8 this morning :thumbsup2 I just woke up and I am feeling so much better.

So now I am not sure what to do he is suppose to stay until Friday night, but do I let him stay or send him home to his mom? This would require his mom taking the rest of the week off from work?:confused3 I am just exhausted:confused:

Kara- As for ASmo I would just stay there. I read bad reviews for every hotel we stay at especially POFQ how it wasn't clean etc.. It was one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in. I am hearing the same about CBR so I think I will go and make my own opinion if the room is dirty I will have them clean it or I will change rooms.

Erin I hope CJ is feeling better today.

Lorrie- Napkins no toilet seats?

Hi to everyone else. I am going to jump in the shower to grab my Disney Documents!

Kara, I looked all over and came back up to say I lost the book - guess what was by the CPU?:rotfl2:

There are two S&S coupons in there - one for 50% off a haircut, and 30% off any service (up to a $21 value), so I don't think that will be much help. It is location specific, so I would just call them and ask do they know what kind of coupon they put in the Entertainment book :confused3 If it is a deal, it might be worth the money to buy it - ours was $10. I'm a sucker for the neighbor kids drives, what can I say. I'll keep my eyes out for my clipper too, but it probably says Nashville area too.

Jillian - I'm so sorry that you had such a night. I did too sort of. I slept 3 hours. Blasted meds. Tonight I'm just going to stay up I think.

It looks nice, I thought I would take the kids to the grocery with me to get out of the house - we're under a flippin' tornado watch again. What that is about - couldn't tell you. Doesn't show much on radar. The wind is high though - maybe that is it. We have some front coming through - 70 today, 40 tomorrow. :sad2:

Anyone sold on this before? I have two things I think I could make some WDW vacation money from - the stroller I bought last year... and used twice... which still is practically new, so someone should want a new Graco Metrolite for a used price. :confused3

And I'm tired of looking at Nicolas' train table & all the thomas stuff he never plays with.

Because of the size of those two, I thought Craigs List might be better to sell them - anyone done that before?

Lorrie - BSIL sold a ton of stuff on Craigs List before they moved.... that's where I was gonna list Ally's Barbie car and my stroller, too. Plus this big ole sectional we have - it was a $2000 sofa when Jeff's parents bought it about 20 years ago, so it is really nice. I'll be lucky to get $200 for it. But hey, any little bit, right???

I need to earn money for Ally's party!!!

Just dug through the garbage and found out Mint magazine (same as Clipper) which is where the gal said the coupon was - nope, nothing! Went through it twice! AARRGGHH! I'll have to keep watching and see if another one comes out before her bday.

I'm heading out to dinner tonight with a salesman from my old company. He is from Mississippi and covers that state plus the lower 1/3 of Alabama and Georgia, and the upper 1/3 of FL - he just called to let me know he's in town for two nights. Haven't seen him in almost two years so this will be a fun dinner!

I will order salad - I will order salad - I will order salad!!!!

i'm all for the party. we want to keep them young forever right? Well I'm a carzy birthday party parent. I'm the one that had 19 girls to the gymnastics place. Take LOTS of pictures.

Kara is the good one. Mia's birthday is two weeks before Ally's and do you see me talking about it at all... .NOPE.

I had planned on ELMO which is what she's all about now, but she's a big MOUSE and DORA fan these days. We will see. I think I'll keep it simple at 2. Maybe just family this year. She will do preschool next year, so she'll have little buds to do a princess party with then.

My Ultimate Guide for 2009 came in the mail today. Made me feel good about not booking AKL (sorry Kara). Reason was interesting - room noise from outside is awful. Rated them an F.

Lorrie - funny you mentioned the outside noise - someone actually asked that question on here and everyone said it was fine. I guess someone saw the same thing you did. I'll let you know in a few weeks.

Well the test was a boom box and their point was all the deluxe have a certain spacing under the door to allow a fresh air exchange (makes sense to me I guess), but seriously, how many people are going to walk through with boom boxes. The only reason it would be bad for us is that afternoon nap when Mia sleeps. I seriously would think it would be no more or less than any other.

I still would ask when checking in about construction noise and try to be away from that - but that should be easy enough for them to handle.

I packed up 4 boxes of toys out of our toyroom. I don't think any of them will be missed. SERIOUSLY.

Debbie - does Michael have that Handy Manny with the interactive tools. The one that is like "I'm thinking of a tool that does...." and you put it in and he tells you if it is right or not? I think it was a $20 toy. Can't remember the name.

Get this. I get ally from the bus stop and told her i was going out to dinner tonight - she said "so that's why you're all dressed up." OK, I'm wearing jeans and a sweater. Does this tell you anything about how I usually look??? :rotfl2:
