Do you guys realize that Disney will give Nicolas either a gift card for $63.90 or 5 fast passes for his birthday. I'm so taking the gift card for him! We'll be at DHS - so Toy Story Mania will be his only "ride" and then the Muppets maybe. So I'm doing the gift card. That kid can have fun at DTD that night!

YES! I was gonna go on Monday and stay that night with Ellen, but she called and asked me to come a day early for the dismeet! I'm so excited!

Yea on the gift card! I thought only passholders could get the gift card or fast passes? I thought it was free admission otherwise?

Just got on the scale and I'm down 2.5 lbs from this morning - and that is WITH wet hair! I swear, I pee all morning - that must be why.....

Ran to Bealls the other night and got a pair of faded pink capris - fit good, feel good, will be great for Disney, cause it comes back to Disney, right? Plus 3 plain t-shirt in brown, pink, and white. Oh, and white shorts, cause Easter will be here before ya know it! And a cute pair of flops - sage green straps with palm trees. There are so many sales out there right now - I just wish I could afford to take advantage of these great sales! that was the first shopping I did for myself in months!

Yay about the DIS meet. Alan is really nice. He helped me last year with my trip. You know me, I was guarded when he PMed me at first - thinking is he a stalker.... He's just super nice. Tell him I said hi!

What I was told was since we bought a package upfront, they have no way to add free admission for a day in on the front end - so you pay and then you can opt for the fast passes or the free admission (via credit on a gift card) if you want when you supply your certificate and proof of id at a park that day.

I don't know - those fast passes might be great especially if you're at MK that day - all those attractions in Fantasyland? I mean Anklebiterland? Pooh, Snow White, Peter Pan, etc? You could be in and out of Fantasyland in an hour!

I decided to get the Wii after all. I got my costco cash rebate and then my amex rebate so I don't pay anything for. Granted I was eyeing some new dishes and pans but oh well this will be more fun for the family.

Also the fastpass isn't all that. There is a "Donald" list that you pick a couple from - thrill rides, and then a "Daisy" list that you get to pick a couple from. For us, eh - we won't be FP that much at DHS so ... Gift card please.

Why does that boy want to go to DHS for his birthday? That would be my LAST park. He just wants to meet the Power Rangers, etc. With it being his birthday (and the shirt I will put on him) maybe they'll give him some birthday goodness - who knows.

Yep - we were the first ones on it last time. Got in line immediately to ride again - line was 15 minutes! After 7.5 min, he decided he'd rather go ride the horses.

I know! That is the reason I decided to keep the hopper on ours - When we were there last year, I THINK it was busier - and there was Spectro twice a night most nights, but every night I'm pretty sure. I think for our week it is on 4 times - single times only. I'm just happy to be at Disney and plan accordingly - you know?

Lauren Update - heard from Cammie a bit ago - looks like Tuttos made a big deal with singing to her and embarrised the crap out of her. Cammie said it was the biggest deal made yet. They have Le Cellier today. I just think it is so cool she gets a "Week of Lauren"

Tammie - I am with you. My boy is there, I am too. I'm a nut though. I dress the same as him so I can tell how he is feeling. Stupid I know because I'm not running about, but I just like to know that he may be freezing. I will keep the sleeping bag in mind for when he is older though!

If it were something he LOVED, I could see it, but honestly he could care less. He is average at best - I can just see the disinterest on his face, but he won't say it. He just likes playing with his friend - who is an all star by the way. I asked him this morning if he'd rather play soccer or ride his bike - he said ride his bike.

Am I wrong thinking about ditching the season? Give me some advice here. I NEVER played sports. Carlos was in competative swimming and baseball from an early age - and that kid burned out at 16 because he never had a life - then again, his parents were just trying to get one of them to be a "meal ticket"

I don't know - for a 4 year old, their attention span is so short they really aren't learning any skills except maybe social skills. I didn't let the boys quit any team or 4-H during the season - wanted them to learn about commitment, but if they didn't want to sign up again the next year, they didn't have to.

Well, that backfired with Mark, cuz on a hugely prestigious baseball team between his Jr. and Sr. year, he just didn't show up for the bus - let his dad drive out of town to attend the game and everything Ruined his chances with the colleges that were looking at him... but he's happy now - wouldn't have been Pro, and it's all the same once they grow up!

Analysis of meal plan options - final act happens today. I need to take into account we will all have 2 "snacks" a day - BIG WATER DRINKERS. Me on a bad day - 82 oz or more. Carlos 100+ and the kids are just like us . At least I know I passed off one good habit. But that can be pricey at WDW.

Your next thought was mine - I don't usually use the $4 snacks for water, I try to order water delivered or buy a case on the way to the resort. Of course we can only carry a couple, and then we still have to buy a soda or use a snack credit for lemonade or something.

Tammie - yes, I sorta feel bad about backing out, but if we are going to do it, now is the time. He pre registered last fall - so we got a break in the fee. The games start 3/7, but his coach just got the list of players this weekend and wants to hold first practice Monday.

I know there is a wait list a mile deep, so if we bow out - they aren't out anything (we would use the same uniform) and we aren't out a new set of cleats either. Hopefully they might refund some of the money, but I doubt it.

I just think it would be a relief. At the end, I took him crying when we got in the car - he just was tired of going, yet when season ended, he said that he really wanted to play again.

I need to talk to his dad tonight.

MMMM that last one sounds good - where is it? I agree with Kara and Cammie on the other ones! I loved the Rice Cream in Norway also, but it is a family favorite of ours on holidays - we call it Glorified Rice.

Oh, I know! Mickey Bars at AK!!! I previously thought you could only get them on the DCL.

Yeah, right! My healthy treat would be the Dole Whip b/c of the pineapple! I"ll tell ya what - in NOrway, there are also some sweet pretzels that look awesome. Oh, and a regular pretzel in Germany. Tammie is right about the Mickey ice cream bar or ice cream sandwich. And check out the bakery in France. Too much to mention there!

Okay, let's just be honest here. I was over agressive in where I thought my weight loss would be this summer. Despite pretty good efforts, I'm going to come out of this med round with at least a 5 pound gain - it is TERRIBLE!

I bought a smaller size swimsuit than I needed this year - a 14. I think. I think it is going to be way too little in the tummy area and make me very self concious.

What about this style. Do you think it would be a good choice?

I had a suit like that and loved it! Seriously, it had the "tennis dress" look. And it did cover my tummy nicely.
