Laura- Sounds like me I had a ton to get done and only managed to make it to Costco. I did make Beef stew in the crock pot for dinner tonight and to freeze the rest. I am starting my Nutrisystem Monday and there needs to be dinners for Luca ready to go. I am not sure what else to freeze?


Kara- Glad to see Jeff is hooked. I never thought about looking up friends from grade school hmmm.... something else to do

I'm heading off to the Mall with my mom today I am hoping Grampy will be watching him so I can just go and shop and clear my mind, the funny thing is I really don't want to go. I just want to be home. I need to go get things done.

Morning all!

We have basketball, basketball, basketball today - all afternoon! And then - 6-9 inches of snow tonite! I am SO psyched!

Anyway, Lauren has a sleepover slumber party tonite so it's just me and Amanda; considering that she's usually asleep by 8pm, I hope to jump on here alot tonite. I know I'm spending alot of time on Facebook but I'm trying to figure it out. I've been sent hugs, drinks, bumper stickers - I don't know what to do with them! And everytime I try to focus on it, someone pops in for a live chat - which I never pass up!

And, once again, I'm neglecting my trip reports! I got my ME paperwork for my Feb. trip yesterday - so I need to update that report! And, now Jillian, I'll add your pre-trippie to my list of reports I need to catch up on!

Hi Cammie, I guess I'll pop over on Facebook to say hi! I still haven't taken the time to figure it out - I've just been too busy. I have several TRs that I'm having trouble keeping up with.

I got our Braves tics this morning for the WWS game while we're there in March, and both new pairs of crocs came, as well as my "free shipping" T-shirt. It seems a little small, but Lindsay says I can stretch it. She is the queen of stretching cuz she has a really long torso! Now Jim says he doesn't have enough shorts, so I need to try to find them on somewhere. I'm only bringing enough clothes for 4 days, then doing laundry, so maybe he does have enough. He's just really picky about comfort, and I never can figure out what it is he's looking for.

We have a fab day ahead tomorrow, for 1 of Chloe's Christmas pressies i booked tickets to go see HSM on ice tour with my Bf and her 3 kids then the other day we were in the disney store and the lady in there gave us FREE (my favourite word) tickets to go see Beverly hills chihuahua tomorrow morning and we are able to do both

I sucked it up and bought the nutri system program from costco. Is 258 a bad prce for 5 weeks of food? I just realized I gave 6 weeks until the annual water park vacation with tim's family. I need to drop some weight so I don't look awftul in a suit.

That's a good price now you just need to add fruits veggies and a little protein. I usually take the granola cereal for breakfast add it to yogurt and strawberries and blueberries and tada that get's some of my required food out of the way. then I add chicken to my salad at lunch and have that with soup or a lunch bar. Drink the water they say to drink and you should be losing a couple pounds a week work out 2 or 3 days and I lost 6 lbs in one week.

I can't BELIEVE IT !!!!!! We were there - at HSM on ice yesterday (Sun 11th at the NIA) too!!!!!! Does the fact we were unknowingly in the same building count as a DIS meet????

Loved the actual show! Not too keen on the HSM3 additional "bonus" stuff though - just seemed to be an un-thought-out drag on and on.... but the kids were amazed and absolutely loved the skating.... and singing.......and (extortionate!) popcorn and candy floss

Yes that was it we were at the 2.45 show .. how funny,! Yes we all loved it, we loove Disney on ice and go every yr, so this was definitely icing on the cake hahaha and by the way they defo put the prices up, don't think the programme is normally £8 .. I agree, i think had it been b4 Hsm3 came out the "pre-show" would have been better but we have seen the film and have the cd etc etc so it just didn't have the same impact really!

Ok girls I need some help. One of my dear friends is going thru Chemo right now. I am having a really hard time just calling her. What is wrong with me? I love her she is such a good friend, but I just can't see her. I should have prefaced this by saying in my teen years my grandmother and grandfather died of Lung cancer and they lived with us I took care of them both while my parents were working to afford their medicines. Any ideas???

Sounds like our house. For the first time ever we actually opened nothing before Christmas Eve. Generally, they are all given out within one - two days of purchase!

Thanks guys! You are the best. I would have never thought to have her be super-hydrated and warm. Dumb question--how do you do that when they aren't supposed to eat or drink 6 hours before hand? Cammie actually brought up a great suggestion. We always did the warm pack to the kid's heals before they pricked them as babies - but stupid me never thought about doing that to an adult. You can bet that I'm going to get my blood drawn with a hot pack from now on! Great tip Cammie!

Okay, My kids are kinda clingy today. We are suppose to be getting some very wintery weather (nothing like the rest of you, but 4 inches here can shut down the world ) . We will see. I'm going to get the kids some dinner going and hopefully I can continue to make progress.

Hi Renee! We miss you! We have all been very busy, and some are MIA on Facebook - I feel like they're cheating on us, cuz I don't have time to be in both places! Thanks for asking about my dad. He is doing great! He has alot of vision back, and is starting to drive again. He has pretty much put his walker away, and is getting therapy to compensate for his vision so he won't feel dizzy. Good thing if you're drivin' huh? I hope things are going better for you. They say to make a list, prioritize the 6 most important each day, and then just do what you can do!
