I'd just do MK if Epcot is EMH. But some people don't like San Angel. It is not tex/mex, it is a lot of seafood, not burritos and such. But the atmosphere at San Angel is awesome! It's really dark and sits along the river in the Rio del Tiempo boat ride in the Mexico pavillion. We like Cantina for a quick CS meal. The portions are good and it is the kind of mexican food we find at home - burritos, etc.

How are you feeling today?

Well, our garage freezer died. It's actually our old fridge/freezer fromour old house, and the freezer portion died. We have a big freezer chest too, but it's been turned off, so Jeff turned it on last night and now I can't open it to move the food from the other freezer. It's got a vacuum seal or something. And there's no room in the kitchen freezer for this stuff so I'm pissed right now. I don't even know if the big freezer out there is clean or now - Jeff assured me it is. Mmmm, hmmmm. Like he would have a clue! So I don't know what to do now. But we've got a lot of meat in the freezer that's gonna go bad! I guess it'll hold until he gets home tonight..... I hope.

I'm really grumpy today - woke up at 5am and couldn't go back to sleep! What is up with that??? So think I'm gonna go nap during lunch, then I have the neighbor kids coming home from school with Ally. So I'll need to get myself showered at a decent time today! :rotfl2:

Starting to like my hair a little better. Still hate the color, but the style is easier - I just use the diffuser and scrunch it and it's okay. I'm getting used to it. I think another couple of inches and I'll be happy.
Do I need to get Lauren to text you to have your bra on?
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Okay, this is how wacky I can get. I have a spreadsheet where I plugged in our dining choices - what we'd order and projected that we'd be buying an extra kids meal for Mia OOP. Guess what? We still didn't "save" enough for it to make sense to do the DDP+. We'd basically spend $260 OOP on top of our plan (worst case) plus our TRex dinner that won't be covered anyway. The difference between our plan and the DDP+ would be $518 - so there you go. Easy decision! And I padded that $260 with food, so there is really no way we would be better off.

I looked at it because CSR's food court is so blasted expensive! Room service is only CENTS more per price, so we may be having room service some times! :woohoo: LOVE THAT in the am!

San Angels... been looking at the menu. Seems a bit more Yucatan - is that how you'd describe it? Besides - when is Cinco de Mayo EVER about the food? My problem is I'm 4 TS credits too heavy, so that means 4 OOP or something has to get cut. Maybe I'll post that and let you guys help. I've started looking at it until my eyes cross.

Alrighty guys - need to cut some TS meals here. Suggestions? We're allowed 7 - and I don't mind for paying for a couple - but not 4-5.

Arrival day : Dinner @ Boma (meeting Kara, can't cut)
Day 2: BF - Tusker (LOVE This one!), L - CS Dinner Park Fair
Day 3. BF - Ohana (birthday boy) L - CS; Trex dinner out of pocket
Day 4. BF - CS, L - Crystal Palace, D- San Angels
Day 5. BF - CS, L - CS, D- Tutto Italia
Day 6. BF - Norway, L-Le Cellier (gonna have to cut this), D - Ohana
Day 7. BF - Crystal Palace, L- CS, D - Maya Grill
Day 8. BF - CS or Chef Mickeys (really going to cut this one too)

So... thoughts on Crystal Palace for lunch vs early dining time for MK? I LOVED RD at the castle, but I'm afraid that might make Carlos....um.... Pissy? :rotfl2: :lmao: , but I think only one CP is all we need.

So by my count, that still leaves 10. :sad2:

See - here is where I get stuck. We were "celebrating" our anniversary at Maya Grill the night before we leave at 5:45, but do yall think we'd rather be at a park? I thought it would be either we would want to be at a park late and sleep in the next day, or eat early and pack up that night - then go to a park the next am. We fly out at 3, so realistically we won't have to board ME until 1 pm.

Kara - okay, consider that San Angels "romantic atmosphere" with two kids 4 & 2 who scream "DONE" after about 15 minutes tops.

Hi Everyone! I'm new here and I am for sure ANAL, OCD, and CONTROLLING so I was so excited when I saw this thread!

We are leaving for our FIRST EVER trip to Disney in 32 days and I am so anxious that I can't stand it!

I have books, I have The Passporter, I have been visiting websites, I have been having lunch dates with friends who have been to Disney many times, and I've even made a binder with all my schedules and stuff in it. Everyone is making fun of me, including my husband who has asked countless times if I remembered to schedule in some time for "fun"?

Anyway, glad to know that I am not the only one! I can't wait till our trip!!

I'd cut one CP and maybe even 1900PF - that is a fun meal but it's a buffet so the food is "okay" and you've already got Akershus which will give you more princesses. OR, switch Akershus to a dinner or lunch and eat bfast in your room - pop tarts, etc. Do not cut Le Cellier!!!! It's soooo yummy!

I'd cut San Angel before I cut Le Cellier.

When I went to Ally's Vday party at school last week she told me that morning, "make sure you look pretty." So I showered and put on normal clothes and asked her if I looked okay. She looked me up and down and said, "uh, no. you need to change your shirt." :rotfl2: It was just a simple black shirt but apparently it did not meet with a 7 year old's approval! What a little snoot head!

Last night while Ally was at gymnastics, I was texting back and forth with Cammie - then Lauren got on and was texting me. I was laughing so hard at her!!! She is adorable! Cammie sent me a pic from Raglan Road to see if I could guess where they were!!! She had a beer flight and I told Lauren to tell her that she was ready to sample!!! :rotfl2:

I'd move TRex to day 2 dinner (keep in mind, from what I have read that this is a loud and "scary" restaurant for some kids....).
Then I'd move Akershus to day 3 dinner or day 5 lunch. Move CP to dinner on day 4 and then do CS for lunch. Is that cinco de Mayo? If so, do lunch at Epcot at Cantina de san angel, then head back to MK for dinner.

Hello and welcome. I know what you mean, my husband makes fun of me too. One trip once to just vacation, I gave in and didn't do it and boy did he admit there is a big difference! How lucky for you that your trip is so quickly! Enjoy your planning!

Kara - Well, the problem is LeCellier is all booked for dinner, so that puts us lunch or nothing. That day Ohana is dinner at 5:30 - see my issue? Two big meals in one day would be a lot more than we are use to! LOT MORE!

ERRRRR.................

I've cut the lead in our biggest loser competition. The first place person has lost 6.25%, 2nd place is 5.75% and I'm at 5.25%. I figure if I can lost 5lbs over the next 3 weeks, that will put me at 8.75% total for the competition. I should be able to pull it off if I can hit that. The two in first and second place have slowed down a lot. I really wanna beat my neighbor - he's just an arrogant jerk about it, and he's in either first or second place. They don't list names, but we all have numbers so we only know how we are doing....

I finally convinced Jeff we ned to get Tables in Wonderland card this trip. We're gonna use it probably one TS each weekend trip we take, sometimes more, and since it includes alcohol, that will probably save us anywhere from $10-15 each time we use it. So we should get our money's worth in a year easily.

Can't move it - Nicolas wants to eat there for Dinner his birthday. I've YouTubed it for him and it seems LOUD! :sad2: The kid gets freaked by MAWTP ride, but thinks he can handle that. :rolleyes1 Earl of Sandwich is my backup :thumbsup2 I'm hoping the says no - we can let him do the build a dino portion regardless and I think that might fill his urge! Great suggestion though for my little woosie! :) :lmao:

Carlos saw the Akershus menu for lunch and pitched T-Total fit saying he'd not eat one thing there and it was breakfast or nothing!

:headache: :headache: :headache: :headache: :headache: :headache:
see what I deal with? all his pickiness limits me.
 I may tell him here it is - you give some input or we will need to be OOP the extra $250, cause I'm done with this!

Do you drink any sugar drinks? That will cut it fast, plus up your intake of "water" bearing fruits/veggies. Watermelon... I'll see if I can find my list.

NO ALCOHOL FOR 3 WEEKS! NONE! Just try to eat whole foods. What will you win?

Just don't give up Le Cellier yet - it is really worth it.

Our ADR for there is 11:45. We have Ohana at 5:30 - think that won't be too much (for me it probably won't, because I'm not a big fan of the menu at Ohana, but Carlos loved Samba at Las Vegas - very similar to Ohana but Brazillian theme.)

Yeah, Akershus food is nothing to write home about. I just hate using credits for bfast when it's the easiest meal to bring from home, kwim?

Oh, I hear ya! I'm good with a bowl of cereal. So is Mia. Nicolas likes eggs & toast, but both will eat honey buns easily! Carlos = bagel. So it is a waste for us, but he looked at Akershus menu - said several things I can't repeat :rotfl2: , and replied he would rather eat cat. :lmao: Then said perhaps that was what some of the stuff was :lmao:

He can be like a 5 year old about food some times. He would sit there and not eat a thing for lunch. Stupid man.

I'm upping my water again - on JC we were limited on watermelon and cantaloupe for some reason..... But I'm eating grapefruit and 90 calorie Special K bar for breakfast, lean cuisine for lunch, plus low sodium V-8 juice to help fill me up. Then healthy dinner (when Jeff is not home I do lean cuisine then too). I've got to burn about 200 cals a day on the elliptical - more if I go to the gym, and I know I can lose 2/week. I have a mission!!!

And the first place winner gets $300 cash!!! That is my iphone!!! Actually, since I'm a secondary line on our account, my upgrade is not good until July, so I told Jeff that's an easy bday present for me!

I'll blow all $300 on new summer clothes for lean and trim body! :rotfl2: Actually, I will probably do something stupid with it, just for me, like shoes and purses. I'm a sucker for handbags!!! And I havent' bought new shoes in a year!!! I love shoes too but living here I'm in flip flops or crocs year round! I've become such a bum!

What about Maya Grill are you set on that? I don't know anything about that one.

Girl, I can so help you out. Lean Cuisine was one of my banned things when I was pre-eclamptic. TOO MUCH SODIUM. You need to switch to healthy choice. I know it doesn't taste as good - but the sodium is less.

me too - flops and crocs. I'm a bum. I use to wear suits all the time, so while it is nice - I feel like WTH happened to me sometimes!

What about Maya Grill are you set on that? I don't know anything about that one.

The menu looks nice - very Mayan themed I guess. Reminds me of our favorite on our honeymoon - why I picked it. If push comes to shove and we drop it, that would be okay I guess.

I hate to do too much CS with the kids. They do like veggies and all that other stuff ... :headache: :headache: :headache: :headache: :headache:

The CS at Disney gives them a choice of veggies or fruit with their meals instead of fries of chips. Ally usually gets grapes with her chicken nuggets, or sometimes carrots and celery sticks. When we do OOP she and I split a meal. Lst time I ordered a dbl cheeseburger with an extra bun and there ya go!

I only got lean cuisines cause they were BOGO! :rotfl2: Now I have about 10 to eat! Usually I eat a turkey sandwich with either a side salad or baked lays chips. I use fat free mayo and fat free cheese, plus light bread so the sandwich is about 200 calories. As long as I drink 8 glasses of water and keep my calories to 1200, I can lose 1.5 - 2 lbs per week. That is IF I get in some exercise, too!

If I had to choose between Maya and San Angel, I'd go San Angel for the atmosphere alone. It is beautiful in there!!! If you tell them it's Nicolas' bday and you want a special table by the river, hopefully they could accommodate you - the kids would be entertained watching the boats go by. :thumbsup2

You so rock! That is a great idea! SERIOUSLY GREAT!

Out of love - that is too much sodium that you are going to hold. Chips are horrible! Try carrots instead of chips. They actually make ones that are shaped like chips at Publix - get some ff sour cream and cut up fresh herbs you like - mix it in and you can have a dip. NO SODIUM in that.

You'd be suprised how much water weight you hold when you do that. I know this is such a bad suggestion (people - don't scold me) but you might consider a water pill until this competition is over if you are going to stick to the LC & chips. :confused3
