Hi Girls...
Kara..I am super crabby too!!! It is cold and rainy, my hubby is at the Cub's home opener in the cold rain (plus he took off work to be there), my bills were almost messed up and I had to do some fancy foot work, I baby sat, brought the kids to school and the dentist and I have a dumb meeting tonight that I absolutely am not in the mood for. My Mom's birthday is Friday and none of us have any gifts for her yet ...yada yada...crab...crab....**********...

The weekend was nice.....low stress...spring break is over though and back to reality!

Lorrie...we don't do EMH because we don't want to get up THAT early. We have done breakfast before the park opened though and that was heavenly.
As for your friend...that would bug the **** out of me!!!!!!!!! You are just going to have to keep "missing" her....I mean we were there at the same time as those friends we LIKED and it was hard to get together. Just keep telling her what your plans are (vaguely) and watch how they won't be able to keep up with you. IDK....all I DO know is you can't let her piss you or Carlos off for 3 days.

Jillian.....it will all pass over when they leave......

Lorrie - I think Nicolas will like Kim Possible. It is soooo fun! And you and Carlos will have fun, too! Seriously. He might not get the whole villain thing, but watching what happens when you do the missions is super cool. Just do it.

Still feeling really b***** today! Don't know what's wrong with me but I'm going to go take a hot bath and avoid Jeff and Ally. Otherwise, I know there will be a big fight tonight. I'm in that kind of mood.

Debbie - Sorry you are having a yucky day too. What is with you and Kara? Just kidding - I totally get that way .... at least weekly!

I came to grips that I am going to have to have a confrontation again (SIGH). We've had them so many times over the past. She always gets so Nasty that I dread it. I don't think she will scrap her plans. She'll still go. I just don't get her with a lot of things. SHE HATES MEXICAN FOOD! Anyway, I've been mapping our days out and my BF is very right ... I don't want to make her mad - but my choice is to make her mad or make Carlos mad - which is it going to be. HER.

I get my new Microwave in Thursday. I'm a little nervous about it. We have all white kitchen appliances - but we picked stainless becuase that is where we want to end up. Hopefully this year we will replace the dishwasher too. And maybe next year the fridge with it's broken stupid icemaker - don't get me started. It has been worked on several times - the problem is an insulation issue. Had doors replaced, etc - and it still stinks. I'm NOT a GE fan

All that to say, I'm a little nervous about how that is going to look until it is completely done - KWIM?

Tomorrow is my 45 day mark with the allergist - can you believe it? Outside that one issue outside, I've been doing so great. I have a followup tomorrow to adjust meds, but overall I feel pretty darn pleased!

I'm working on our iteneraries and boy is that fun. I'm hoping to catch more shows than we did last time.

I know you guys have seen these things - so...

Storytime with Belle @ MK or B&TB at DHS?
What about the Sounds Dangerous and Indy shows? Should the guys at least try to catch those while I take Mia to PHD or something?

I can't wait to get there. I have had it on the back burner. I was actually shocked to see that I only have 18 days left!

Oh - and chicken alert again. Mia is going to want to do everything the guys do, and my one fear is the ::GULP:: Astro Orbiter. That thing is HIGH. Is it as bad as it looks? YIKES!

Lorrie, I have done both EMH and not - here is what I found out:

On the days we did the EMH, we got alot done, but the park we were in got crazy busy! It seems like people go to that one, even if they didn't make it to EMH

The crowds are smaller If you choose a park with no EMH, and you can sleep an extra hour, be there for RD for sure, then FP your best ride, ride another one, FP the next one, ride the first FP- you can have everything big done by 1pm - go take a nap and head back to that park if you want, or to another one. The break is so good to do with little ones

I don't like Sounds Dangerous - boring. Maybe kids would like it - my niece and nephew didn't seem impressed. I think Indy would be fun for all of you to see, but I'm partial to Indy.

Okay, gotta do another update on my TR and head off to bed - we are leaving for VEGAS BABY! tomorrow am at 7 - I'm getting up at 5:30.

Hiya - we loved Indy - even the girls, it was high-camp over the top fun - the girls were a bit wary of the fire bit, but they enjoyed it and want to see it again "next time we go". So can thoroughly recommend it.

mmmmmm Astro orbiter - I would not go on that thing again if I was paid to!!! I don't know what it is, but it just did not feel "safe" like say the dumbo ride. Also, I found it hard to get in and out of. Not my thing at all - as you can probably tell.

I am soooo envious, really want to be over there right now, or even be at the planning stage!

Lorrie - skip Sounds Dangerous - that was 20 minutes of my life I can never get back..... kwim? Carlos might want to take Nicolas to the Lights, Motors, Action show, or Indy while you're at PHD, and YES, Astro Orbiter IS as scary as it looks! I seriously thought I would toss my cookies while riding it. I just focused on taking pics and tried not to think of how high we were!

As for Belle - definitely the BATB show - that alone is worth the price of admission imho. Excellent show! The guys might enjoy it too - Jeff likes it, and we actually try to see it every time we go.

Feeling a bit better today, but still grumpy. I think I need coffee.

I came home from gymnastics last night, took a hot bath, and went to bed to watch TV. Jeff didn't bother me at all. Did anyone watch 24 last night? HOly crap!!!

Oh, and about the ss microwave - I think it will look fine with the white, but honey, I HATE all my stainless appliances! They show EVERY fingerprint, smudge, etc. And they streak something awful when I clean them! Hate them!!!!! It is what I wanted, but now I wish we'd gone with black. OR titanium. That looks like stainless, but doesn't show all the crap.

White and stainless is better than white and bisque. I had mismatch appliances for years after we moved in. The stupid dishwasher was recalled foe catching fire. Great--it was a GE too. LOL.

Ditto on the bad mood. Im headed to Gyn tomorrow--something not right. Had aunt flow's cousin b*+€} bertha for the last three weeks but no change in vistors and no nor pregnant. Just want to know what's up. Have a mirena and bit concerned.

Lorrie no help on the shows. We blew thru DHS. Mia will love barnstormer. I thought astro orbiter was the greatest when I was younger. Now no way I will get on it.


Tammie have a great time on Vegas. I think our trip was been reduced to a trip to the North shore of lake Superior. I just need to find a good b&b with a spa near by.

Still looking at flights for the big meet. Oh I wish I had signed up for silly springfest.

Laura - we did 2 years with mismatched white and bisque too! Our house was built with bisque appliances, and off white counters. Our fridge was white and no way was I replacing it when it worked fine! You really could hardly notice the difference cause of where it was located in the room.

All our appliances in this house are GE, except our ultra crappy LG fridge! Yes, I did break down and buy a stainless fridge to match. I even read consumer reports and researched this model - they all said the ice maker went out. guess what? Yup, twice now. We have to take a hair dryer to it. I almost hope it just dies - I don't like it anyway and want a new one. I almost bought the french door style and wish I would have. But Jeff was adamant about having the ice/water dispenser on the freezer door. To get that on the french door style, is VERY expensive. I should have just gotten the one with ice dispenser and told him to use the sink for water! but he absolutely did not want the freezer on the botton. Now he said he wishes I would have done it - the side by side fridges are so narrow and this one is so much smaller than our last one anyway! Aarrgghh - when will I learn to go with my gut!

:Laura - that is our issue with the dishwasher too - GE- BUT I haven't done anything yet. The dishwashers fire potential is from jet dry building up - never have used that so I've put it off. I certainly don't run it unless I am around though.

Kara - sorry you still don't feel chipper! Our GE sucks for the same reason. The line would freeze causing problems - turns out the doors weren't thick enough. Got thicker doors. The ice maker keeps breaking. It leaks water down on the switch that tells it to make ice. Hard to explain, but once a week you have to take it out, knock all the ice off that, all the ice out of the bin with a knife - I'll NOT get another GE fridge EVER EVER EVER! Nor a LG now thanks to you!

Tessa, Laura, Tammie & Kara - Thanks - no to the astro orbiter. ((WHEW! I can cross the Depends off my packing list now. ) I guess I need to really look at the Indy show. I love you guys. Seriously - you are the best thing out there since sliced bread.

I had fun planning the days out. I can't really shift to the EMH because of the ADRs -I can one day but that is it.

Get a load of this - I know what MK is like and I'm planning two mornings there - but I'm so super excited about EPCOT of all places. There is so much I want to try to do there. I'm a little nervous about the 411 on how to get Soarin FPs. That mob sounds nuts! Is it as bad as they say?

I talked to Carlos about the psycho friend. He said that he agrees this go round maybe a confrontation isn't necessary. WHEW! He said to just let it go. He said worse case, she tags along with us the whole time we are at AK, and he is okay with that as long as we are doing what WE want. She has no clue what to do, but they want to see Nemo and my kids never have been that into Nemo, so there is one difference.

Anywhoo... about the ADRs, that just isn't going to fly. She tries to show up for dinner with us and Carlos said he'd so rat her out. PLUS - she doesn't eat at the same times as us. For instance, our dinner 5 pm - hers is more like 7-8. She is diabetic, so I seriously doubt she will stray too far from her schedule.

I still am going to just say how much I'm looking forward to the 4 of us getting way, spending time together - etc.

And Carlos added - he'd rather hang out with Kara, Jeff & Ally. Maybe next trip it will work out to where we'd all have some EPCOT time together.

Lorrie - FPs for Soarin are not bad at all. We have never had a problem getting them at that time of year. Just get there at RD and head that way. You don't need to rush though. And if that's the morning you have the ADR for breakfast, you're fine to go after breakfast. Seriously, they won't run out until after lunch I wouldn't think.

Seriously, check into titanium appliances instead of stainless. If I had it to do over again.......

OK, get this, Jeff has a new bug up his butt. He wants to go on a family vacay somewhere other than Disney this summer. Cancun!!!! So I'm pricing trips around Cancun and Cozumel - we have enough skymiles for Jeff and I to fly free, so we just need to purchase one airline ticket. I'm finding all-inclusive resorts from $1500-2000 for a week! HUGE deals out there right now with the economy, and of course kids are free. The only time we've done all-inclusive is in Jamaica, and it's a small resort. I don't know if I'd like the huge resorts in Cancun. Plus, Jeff has been to Cancun before so we're looking at Cozumel instead.

Anyone have experience? Lorrie, didn't you honeymoon here?

Lorrie...we do like the astro orbiter. It's not a big deal at all. It is the speed of Dumbo or Aladdin's carpet but just higher up. The view of MK from it is incredible. I just hate spinning on anything.

I can't believe how close your trip is!

Oh....and shout out to Cammie of course!!!! Thinking about you and hoping Amanda is feeling better!

Little Mermaid: Yep - planning on skipping that until the kids are bigger and REALLY want to go.

Nemo - really? I saw it on the Disney show, but I have heard it is good - but LONG. Mia's attention span just isn't that long - and Nicolas either. They get so fidgety. We ((okay I)) Loved FOTLK!(fest of lion king). Nicolas was SCARED and wanted to leave. He got picked to participate and wouldn't. He actually sat in my lap or hid behind me the whole time.

Okay, so I'm like... should I call and change my microwave to white? I just hate all that white in there. Our kitchen is small and I don't know, with all the cherry cabinets, it looks odd with the white.
