Sewer - I know how excited you are. Everytime I receive something in the mail about our trip or just Disney related I get excited. I even ordered a new planning video this year, which I thought was better than last years. I am driving myself crazy counting down the days 'til we go.
Debbie - Thanks for the link. I don't know if I can download it though. We have one good computer and it is in the backroom where I don't like DD to play in. All of our important stuff is on there. This computer, which had instant messenger set up, broke down and my DH re-installed everything but forgot to add that. He is so busy lately that I don't want to bother him. Oh, and don't worry too much about getting a ticker yet. If we would have waited to get plane tickets we would have saved at least $300 between the three of us. Oh well. All the excitement does that to you.

We are all going to miss each other at WDW. Tammi's goin early June, I'm going the end of June, sewer..looks like you're going 2 weeks after that, don't know when Debbie's going but she mentioned early June for her birthday, Lisa is going before all of us. Hi,
I just had to share my stomachache story. I get a stomachache the minute I start to feel like I am losing control of a situation. My anxiety always peaks when a holiday comes up i.e. Easter. I think I told you guys way back in the beginning how I stress over sharing time with my other side for the holidays. My cousin invited us over for Easter at around 12:00 like she did last year. I let DH know the plans and kind of just dropped it. He called me today to tell me that his family who NEVER plans anything ahead of time decided they are going to do a brunch on Easter. Well, I said we had these plans at my cousins already and he said fine and now we will probably end up going there later that afternoon. I of course feel guilty but my family is the big planners and his are the fly by the seat of the pantsers. It would take me one darn long post to bring you up to date on the whole family dynamic so I will spare you but now I am stressed. My DH says yes to whatever I plan but I still don’t want his side mad at me. My family is VERY close knit and we are together a lot but why should I have to then sacrifice being with them on a holiday. His side doesn’t have another side to deal with like my DH. Let me add that my DH’s side are all very nice people just not like my family. Because of divorces and out of state in-laws they never have to plan around anyone else except my DH & I and they really don’t plan around us. I don’t want to sound selfish and that’s probably how this is coming across but I always wished his side had to celebrate holidays on a different day so I wouldn’t have to deal with the conflict. That’s just a dream though. Thanks for listening!

I feel for you Debbie, I know what you are going through, except it's all in my family now. Since my FIL passed away, we just have to deal with my MIL. My parents are divorced and remarried and it is always a nightmare trying to figure out where we are going to do the holidays. Plus we have my grandparents and my MIL to deal with. It gets tiring after a while expecially with the kids, going house to house to house. This year for Easter we decided to go to my uncle's in Kentucky and just get away from it all!

Sewer- We are going to WL this year, I guess you liked it since your going back this year? Any suggestions? Are you near Cincinatti (sp?) ?

Hey Deb, I think most people go through this type of situation during the holidays. The most stressfull time I have is during Christmas, which should be a happy time of year! But every year the same conflicts pop up, and stress me out.

I just think you guys understand me because we have common personality traits. That's why I am so glad you guys have joined this thread.

The funny thing is I tell myself that if the day is planned and know one is complaining then why keep worrying about it! My DH let's me get away with letting my family's plans prevail but I keep worrying about his side being mad. I try and tell myself to just let it go but I never do. It's not my fault we plan and have our regular traditions, right? I am sure his side hates me and I just don't know it! See no one on his side would EVER say anything to my DH even if they were mad.
Oh well...
.....back to working on a ticker...that makes me happy!
