Lastly...I am so excited they finally have our smiley! Maybe I should make up al little something to put in all our siggies that represents this thread!
Which smiley should represent our control freak side (if we have it)

Worry wart :worried:
Control freak:hyper:
Spaz in general:crazy:
Any smiley suggestions?????

Tough question, anyone have the artistic skills to combine all 3? pixiedust:

I don't have a lot of time as usual, but wanted to add my vote for HDDR! We took dd 6 and ds 1 and we all had a great time. It helped that they made us a part of the show, but the food was good and the show is so funny.

Wish I had more time, I am hoping to catch up tomorrow.

Cute pic! I remember when mine were that age..... oh God does time fly.:scared:

 gets my vote! That's my general mood most of the time :rotfl:

Debbie, what a cute pic of your DD! Were you at Spirit of Aloha?

Pam, my grandson is 2, his name is Myles. He belongs to my DS21(Mark) - My 2nd GS is due in May - his name is Mason. He will belong to my DS23(Ryan) Mark and his wife are having another in August, but we don't know yet if it is a boy or girl.

For our trip to WDW in June, my DSIS is bringing her DS8 and DD7. I am so excited, cuz none of them have been to anything Disneypixiedust: I have been planning and planning - I want everything perfect for them!

We are doing dinner with Cinderellaprincess: at GF, HDDR, Breakfastsaurus, Crystal Palace, Sci-Fi, Rainforest Cafe, Ohana. My nephew wants to snorkel, so we are going to Typhoon Lagoon. I sent them rolling Disney backpacks for Christmas, along with autograph books and maps of all the parks that my DS picked up in the World last year. We are staying at SSR for the first time - I hope they like it!

**Sounds like I just did a pre-trip report:rotfl2: I guess I wanted to prove I belong with you other planners:flower3: Have a great night everyone! Thanks for letting me yak!!! I enjoy talking to all of you - a great positive group!***

Sewer - Belated :bday: I have never been to either of the shows but I have seen some of the Spirit of Aloha show on YouTube. I think it is the old show because they have Lilo & Stitch dancing in it. The other parts of the Luau reminded me of the Luau we saw in Hawaii which was nice.
I like the spaz smiley the best. Otherwise, my DH said maybe he could make the smiley keep changing. That might be cool.
Pam & Debbie - Thanks for caring. I don't know why I still don't feel well. Everytime I start cleaning I get so weak.
Magicfor2 - I think you did a great job so far. Those kids must love you. Anticipation is half the fun of the trip. Well, maybe one-tenth the fun of the trip.:scratchin

Ahibird - Good job keeping a secret. If my parents surprised us like that I would have loved it. I forgot about "House". That is a great show, too. I wonder what others I forgot.
Debbie - Cute picture at the Luau. My DD wanted to get on stage at Kahunaville rest. in the Dells when the other kids went up and I ended up taking her there and holding her while we both danced. She is shy but seems to wish she wasn't.

Lisa...maybe the smells of the cleaning products you are using are making you ill? Are you eating enough? Pregnant? Sorry...going into mommy mode. Whatever it is, I hope you feel better soon.

Tammie: Sounds like there will be a lot of little pitter patter around your house very soon! How cute. I like the names of your grandsons. Sounds like you need to add a little girl. Your trip should be soo much fun! I am positive that your neice and nephew will absolutely LOVE what you have planned!!! You'll have to do an post trip report. Let me know how you and your family like Typhoon Lagoon. We'll be going right after you and we've never been there.

Debbie: I vote for the Crazy Smiley.

Hey everyone! I love the new worried smiley. How perfect for us!

I have to admit, I am jealous of everyone planning a trip. I just went to WDW in January, and it seems like ages ago. I am very exciting for everyone who has a trip coming up.

Lisa..sorry you are feeling bad. Hope you feel better soon. Its so hard to be sick when you are a mom, because you just have to keep on going.

Debbie..love the pic of your DD! They grow up so fast, don't they?

Pam..thanks for the heads up about the Gymbo outlet. I have never been to one and I was thinking of going, but now I won't even bother. You can get such great deals on clearance, its pointless to pay more for lower quality clothes.

Happy belated birthday, sewer! Hope you enjoyed your day!

Tammie..how exciting about your new grandson. My son is Ryan, too. I love the name!

My DD who is 4 also seems to think she is about 13. Yesterday she told my son and I that she "had it with us.":rotfl:

I really have been meaning to post more, but I do keep up with the thread.

Hi everyone! :wave2: Thanks for the congrats on our soon to be new DGS! We are getting really excited! The other DDIL should know what she is having next week, I think! I know a girl would be so fun - think of the cute clothes!!! But, there are alot of boys in my DHs family. He keeps saying, "the manfull's have boys" even our last name says it :lmao: A sweet little princess: would be so fun !

Maureen, your Ryan is so cute! I thought I was being so original when I named mine - until I went to the doc at 15mo, and I called his name and 4 little boys came running over mo :rotfl2:

Ahibird, are you packed yet? Are you too excited to sleep?:rolleyes2

Good night everyone!

Pam - Yesterday I started to feel better and I cleaned the house w/no problems. Finally! I was wondering if it was something serious because a couple of days ago I hadn't eaten breakfast and had 2 cokes, which I am not used to doing. An hour later I almost passed out. I got sweaty and shakey. Then I had two bowls of cereal and some chocolate and I felt better in 10 minutes. I had a similar problem when I was pregnant w/dd at 9 months but I was also nauseaus. Anyhow, I was scared I was getting diabetes until I read that if you have too much sugar and then come down off it you can have similar symtoms. Whew! I worry too much. Then I thought "what if I am pregnant". Although that thought didn't bother me.

Glad you're feeling better. That happens to DH sometimes. He has a superfast metabolism (lucky guy-I am not so lucky). He has to eat often. He can really pack in and is still a size 32 waist at 37. I had gestational diabetes when I was pregnant with McKenna (my 3.5 yo) and Type 2 runs heavily in my family. I hope I don't get it for a good long while. Just make time to take of yourself..it's hard being a mommy and being sick at the same time.

My family is totally opposite..all girls on both sides. There's 2 boys in there (obviously one's my DH) and the other is a nephew. Even our dog is a girl. I joked to my DH that I was going to get him a new license plate: 4grlz&I, but that didn't sound like I wanted it to sound. So we are getting another shih tzu (a male this time) so he won't be the only male around. :rotfl:

AHIBIRD...have fun!!!

Hi, Maureen!!! Hope all is well!

Thanks for the happy birthday's, I think I'm still recovering from the majitos! :rotfl:

Hi Gang!
I have been out and about. Trying to stay sane.
Lisa, I hope you feel better. Maybe you are preggers... you never know...if not maybe you just need to keep that blood sugar up! The weather doesn't help. I can't believe it snowed again!!

Here's my princess: devilish DD4 story. I lost my mind with her because she drew all over a personalized chair from the Company Store with a permanent marker (including coloring in the embroidery) and her response to me was.....
"well, that's why you should have been watching me":headache:

I have been trying to plan a trip to Naples, Florida for my 40th and airfare is terrible for that week. End of May beginning of June. I thought someone was going to surprise me with a side trip to WDW but I can tell that it's not going to happen! Oh well. I do know we will be going sometime in the Fall so at least I know I will be there in 2007!
I am glad to see you Maureen!.
LISA..that would be cool if your DH could make on ethat changed!
Ahibird...OMG you are leaving so soon!
Magic..My Dh's parent's have 10 grandkids and 8 are girls! My ds came last so at one point it was 8 girls and 1 boy! Crazy, huh. Good luck with all of that.:wizard:
:headache: Sewer..how's your hangover!:rotfl2:
BTW...do we know your real name? Do you care to share it. If not I understand.
Pam ......I need a new license plate myself. Right now I have ILVTCHN but I haven't taught since I had DD so I want something new that DH doesn't mind. Do you know that I had people think it meant I Love Touch'n! Perves!

Hi Everyone else! Hope everyone is having stress free days. I am still trying to come up with a good siggie thing to put in for our thread.

So the last couple of weeks have been so crazy, I have not had any time for myself. DH is helping a friend move tonight and the kids are watching Brother Bear 2 right now, so I actually have a minute, maybe!

Happy Belated Birthday Sewer! DD's bday is Friday and I have been so busy trying to plan that. We have a lock in with church Friday and my mom is taking us to the ballet Saturday to see Cinderella! I am so excited and so is my mom, she said that she had always wanted to take me as a child and never could. We both had a little cry over that! Then a church and a pool party for girl scouts on Sunday! We stay so busy, no wonder I stay so stressed out!

Oh no, dd is crying I better go see what ds has done to her now!

I've been lurking over at the DIS Disneyland boards - looking for good tips and info. I can use on our trip. I made lots and lots of list of things to do, things to see, things to pack, etc. -- you know, typical obsessive planning stuff. :teeth:

I'm getting a little worried, though, because I've read there's supposed to be this big cheer competition, coupled with discount tickets for S-Cal. residents and great weather = BIG CROWDS. :crowded: In fact, I'm considering subscribing to Ride-Max. I've never used it before, but have read and heard good things about it.:surfweb:

Thanks for sharing my excitement.:yay: Hope everyone is doing well !!!

Ahi: We went in Aug - it was extremely hot and crowded! We did all of the major things at MK in one day, 1/2 a day for CA. Here's what we did:
My DH and his uncle would run ahead and get a fast past from another land and then meet us near the next one.

i.e. FP for Space Mountain - while we got in line at Buzz Lightyear. ride Buzz, Get FP for Pirates, while we went potty and got to SM, ride SM, ride Jungle Cruise, get FP for Splash Mtn, ride Pirates, etc. Worked really well - someone just has to walk fast and back track alot. We really didn't wait more than 20 min. for anything - if something was too long, we got a fast pass or just came by another time and caught a short line. Moving around counter clockwise seems to work in the am, too - a lot of people seem to start with Space Mountain.

:goodvibes Good to see you! I know how you feel. I always feel guilty when I am at the computer because there are a 100 other things I should be doing instead! The Cinderella ballet sounds lovely! Have a great time!

I don't know anything about DL at all. I am so excited for you though! I can't wait to hear what your DS's reaction is!

HI to everyone else!:grouphug:
Love you guys!

I know how you guys feel. I have not been on the computer all the time lately. If I come to this site, then decide to look up something else, and then my DD wants to watch the videos on here, I get nothing done.
Ahibird - Now I know a good reason not to tell your son that you are going to DL. Today I stopped at the place I used to work and my ex-coworkers asked my DD if she was going to Cinderella's Castle. I had already told her we were and she has been fine about it w/out asking when. Then when everyone else was saying "Oh, how fun", she kept saying she wants to go to the castle, meaning now. I told her we can't today and she almost started crying. If only they had a princess castle dining here in Chicago. That would be cool. I bet it is hard for you to keep your mind off of your trip. I am having trouble and it is 2 months from now.
