I've got a bid at 40.00. If I dpn't get it I won't be heart broken. I saw the Sleeping Beauty on disney shopping for 39.50. They must change the costumes frequently. I was there last month and it seemed that there weren't any on the site. Keeping my fingers cross for the Belle though.Thanks for the tips

Once AGAIN I have spent way too much time on the computer and have gotten NO chores done (or even fun with the kids). It is a really gloomy day here and I have absolutely NO motivation to do anything. DS is taking an unusual nap and DD is having a TV marathon. I'm a bad Mom!

Could you imagine if we all had each others' phone #'s. Our long distance bills would be crazy!

OMG - Laura - my DD had a Belle dress very similiar to the one you pictured. We bought it in WDW in 2000. Honestly, it's in good shape; no stains or rips; just the dress though - no shoes, wand, or crown (who knows where they are?). I would gladly GIVE it to you. Seriously, it's just sitting in a trunk in my basement. Let me know if you're interested; if you pm your address, I can mail it out to you on Monday.
(we have absolutely no use for it any more; so even if you get it and don't want to use it for your trip, just keep it anyway!)

Seriously, though, my DD was queen of dress up; she spent the years between the ages of 3-6 in plastic Barbie or princess high heels. I KNOW she had the shoes to match the dress, but it's anyone's guess where they are. I don't do Ebay, so stuff like that just sits amongst the rest of the clutter in my basement.

Jillian - If the heat would really bother you, and if you're worried about crowds - I don't know if I would go in Sept. just to get the free dining. I know there's a lot of money to be save but there's a reason Disney offers this incentive during those dates in Aug.-Sept. - those are not typically "popular" times to go because is it sooo hot and I think the hurricane threat is strongest during those two months.

What dates were you looking at in Nov? If it's the week OF Thanksgiving - then it will be EXTREMELY crowded. But if you're looking at any other week in Nov. - the crowds will be low. IMO, I think it's the best time of year to be there: not too hot - pleasant temps.; not too crowded. Like Laura mentioned also - which do you think you'd prefer to do - Halloween activities or Christmas activities?

I don't know - but it seems like the trip you just came back from was really affected by weather and crowds. For your next trip, you might want to pick a time to go when those things might not be such a factor. When you really think about it - what good will the money you save with free dining be if you're not enjoying the trip because of undesirable weather and crowded parks?

We have decided to suck it up and go in Novemeber we will be going the Tues. before thanksgiving until the Wed. After. My poor sister is going to have to take the time off of school. We are also thinking about the Friday after thanksgiving until the next Sunday. I agree about the weather and it will give me a little more time to take off the baby weight. Also it will be my parents anniv. (20 yrs) and I think we will upgrade the dining to deluxe as a surprise. My AAA agent is great.

Cammie- you are too sweet to offer your dress. I hate things lying around and dropped off alot of DS's baby clothes to the womens shelter. Alot still had tags.

Debbie- I have done nothing either. DH works 6 days a week and I only see him on Mondays. He postponed his job change for another 2 weeks because his boss begged him to stay. he will then only work 3 days a week.

My family thinks I am crazy too. My DH always says how are the girls? LOL
It's so nice to have all of you around. Who else could I complain to DH about

Well aren't we all just chatty chatty today! Three pages sinced this morning! Now, girls, I just know there are some dirty clothes laying around and some chores left undone! Yeah, well, DH and I played today too - went to the pool after lunch then DD came up after the movie. I convinced DH to ride our bikes up there - 2 miles one way. He was not happy with me. Then when DD came back, I had the mother drop me off at the house to get DD's suit, and then I drove back to the pool. So now we have a car and 2 bikes at the pool. We were able to get my bike in the back but DH (who didn't want to ride up anyway!) ended up riding his home.

And poor guy is getting sick now. He's been taking Zicam trying to catch it early. He is going deep sea fishing tomorrow and is NOT looking forward to it! It was supposed to be a company trip, entertaining clients, etc, but everyone backed out except for DH and one of his salesmen! And the fact that he has to leave our house at 3am tomorrow morning!!!! I hate to admit it, but tomorrow will be a great day for me and DD. I'll get soooo much done!

OK, need opinions. For our Disney room, I was thinking of a burnished gold color, almost a mustardy shade. Then my neighbor said that when she thinks of Disney her first thought is a grey/blue. I love that idea! So I have picked out a steel grey/blue shade. I think that will look awesome with all the black frames I have, there is an off white sectional in the room now. And I could do some red/black drapes, maybe even Minnie dots??? Not sure about that part, but what do y'all think of the wall color?

You know how we are all so chatty now?? I love it! The thing is Ii feel like our questions regarding WDW can get lost in our convo's. Do you guys agree? Should I start another thread titled.......

Laura, I'm so sorry to hear about the sickies in your house! At least they're getting in out of their system now, so everyone will be healthy next month!

Jillian, DH and I were looking at booking the 3rd week in Oct for our anniversary. Price was in the $1700s for 3 nights at Boardwalk, 4 day hoppers, NO food. But I took advantage of the free dining in Sept and got Yacht Club (same price as Boardwalk) for 3 nights, 3 day hoppers, AND FREE DINING for about $300 LESS! Now I know that it is still very warm in September down here, but we're going the very end of the free dining time (same time as Debbie, actually!), so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. If we would have gone in Oct we would not have done the DDP at all, just maybe had one nice dinner and the rest CS or TS for lunch. But I couldn't NOT do the free dining since it was so much cheaper. We don't mind the heat though (guess that's a good thing since we now live in Florida!).

Did I mention I saw my first LIVE snake today? As I was driving home from the pool it was slithering across the street. I was so afraid that DH was gonna see it on the bike - he would have freaked!!!!

OK, I've just made the most awesome drink! 1 shot of XFusion, 1 shot of peach schapps, 1 shot of coconut rum, and then the V8 fusion light mango juice!!! Oh, it is pure heaven!!!! Could probably be made frozen too!

Kara - Have you ever stayed at beach club before? We are a Mod family. I never want to spend too much on a hotel because we are never there. We have agreed that for our 5 year we will stay at GF because it is so beautiful and we are going to go alone.

Ok - good choice! Just be prepared - Wed, Thurs.(turkey day) & Friday will be VERY crowded; but after that the crowds will lessen; by Sunday you'll be golden!

And re: the clothes. I hear ya - I take alot to a resale store by me that is hardly worn. But, when I hear someone is looking for something in particuliar, I'd rather just pass it on to them!
