Looking for car rental codes good for general public

We're considering flying (instead of driving) for our November trip and were wondering if there are any discount car rental codes out there for Budget, Avis, National or any others. TIA for any help.

I strongly encourage using the codes on Mousesavers , but dont forget to try the rates without any codes. My Dh has gotten some awesome rates without codes occasionally. Sometimes codes that give a discount give it off of a higher base rate, not always a savings. So basically you spend a lot of time trying out various code combinations Some hints, sometimes the rates differnences between the different size cars(compact, intermediate, fullsize) is very little. A bigger nicer car may be the same rate as the smaller one, always check. And join their club if it's free, not waiting in lines is really worth it. Good luck!

Thanks all -- it seems that the KW18 code with Thrifty has given us the best deal so far but I'll continue to the the others periodically to see if we can get it down even further.

We are using Thrifty the last week of August. You need to take a short shuttle but the price for a week was only $125 (including everything) versus $210 or more for National, Avis, Hertz and Dollar using Mousesavers codes.

If you have an AMX card there is a code for that with National. I just used it and got a better rate then Priceless of 162.00 all fees included for 6 days in Dec. One restrition is you have to stay over a Saturday night which was no problem for me.

Can anyone tell me where the KW18 code for Thrifty is from or if we need a coupon or card in order to use it? I just found a minivan weekly rate through Thrifty using that code for $152.77 Oct 29 - Nov 5. Before I reserve it I need to know that the code is o.k. for me to use. Thanks to anyone who can please answer me!!
