Looking for Boardwalk view descriptions & room #'s

We are checking in well, just about this time next Sunday, and I am not holding out much hope for the Boardwalk view that I originally requested, will be begging for at check-in!!

So, I figured I would live through others descriptions of their Boardwalk views from past trips. Could you post your room # too if you remember. Its funny, our first trip to the BW last fall I remember reading someones trip report and they had the most fantastic Boardwalk view (I think it was Rich's) and he mentioned a room # at the BW...well we got our # and I just remember it was an odd # and it was close to the one from the report....I was walking down the hallway almost in tears and then, the hallway turned and I knew right away it was going the opposite way. We ended up moving rooms, due to that first one having a bit of a funky smell...and we ended up having a room with a fantastic view of Luna Park Pool Still I would love nothing more than to open up our curtains and see that amazing site

Last October we requested a 1 bdr Boardwalk view and got one, room 5041 to be exact. This was on the top floor directly over the Screen Door store on the Boardwalk. It was great! We watched Illuminations every night from our balcony, along with the nightly activity on the BW. We are going back two weeks from today and have reserved a 2 bdr, standard view, so we'll see what we get. I am hoping for a canal view. Hope you get what you wish for!

dvc family, you can go to the (DIS HOME PAGE) scroll down to vac club on the left and hit room reports. Some people report but don't put type of room (standard or preferred) but a lot of them do. Paul

We had an awesome Boardwalk view from our 2-bedroom this August. We were on the 4th floor above the DVC office. Our rooms were 4003 and 4005 - very long walk from the elevator, but well worth it for the outstanding view.

We were there in September and had a great view 4041. We sat out every night could watch fireworks at Epcot every night. It was a dedicated 1 bedroom. It was our first time there and I think I got spoiled because I would want that every time. Good luck!!
