Looking For Advice on Express Passes

Hi. During our vacation in November/December, my niece and I will be doing a day at Universal. We're getting a pass for both parks and only doing one day there, Wednesday 12/2. We're not looking to hit every ride there is. If we hit the two big Harry Potter rides, Dispicable Me, The Simpsons and E.T., we'll be pretty happy and everything else after that would be a bonus. What I was wondering is, given the day of the week that we're going and what rides we're hoping to hit, would you recommend the Express Pass or do you think we'll be okay without it? You might be ok without it.In any event, I would wait till you get to the parks to decide.If you get there and the crowds are something you cant handle, you can buy the express passes then

If that checklist truly makes you happy, save the money. Based on that list, I assume your niece is younger, you will find a great time in Seussland as well, and there are a variety of great play areas in both parks, Woody Woodpecker coaster is near ET, Animal Actors (show) is in same area and a lot of fun, and there Flight of Hippogriff near the castle is a smallish coaster similar to Woody Woodpecker. Lots to enjoy! Grinchmas is so much fun at that time of year as well, the decorations are awesome in both parks. Look at the maps at Universal website so you don't miss some other great areas.

your trip is during a low attendance period.

why spend the money for buying express passes for two peeps when it might not be needed?

go early and hit pottslandville then hit the other rides.

if you find the express is a necessity, buy them in the shops in the park.

if your niece is older, use the single rider line.

save the ep money for butterbeer...
