Looking to purchase digital camcorder any suggestions for a good one and at a good price??TIA!!:):thumbsup2

We just got an Everio by JVC, we bought the one with the low lux setting since we like to shoot a lot at night time at Disney...parades, fireworks...etc. It was 108.00 one day on daily special from Beach Camera (they sell on that auction site that starts with an e LOL). Ours is the GZ-MS110, you can look up that line of cameras on Amazon for reviews.

You would think that they could include a dang eye lens!

I bought a Sony HD at SAMs. When you find something you like, go to pricegrabber.com to find the best rate. I bought a Sony. it was about the zoom and low light recording.
If you are in for a camera, a lot of them have great video cap now too. I hated balancing the two items during casual events.

Dh really likes his Flip Mino HD I got him for Christmas. It takes good video and holds 2 hrs. of data. I've also heard good things about the Kodak version. That one has interchangeable memory so you can record lots and lots without having to download to a computer each time.

I miss my Sony and thier low light capabilities......forcamcorders I will never stray again...I have a 3ccd panasonic that uses mini-tapes its probably 4 yrs old, great color outside but inside jsut ok

For our purposes the Flip Slide is fantastic. It is also HD but holds 4 hours of data and you can see playback on little screen. I am sure there are better.. but for what we use it for it is perfect.:):)
