Hi all,

I'm looking for a new bag to take into the parks with me. I have a Travelon Convertible Backpack that I love, but it is old and has seen better days.

I have been looking around and found the following. I would love your opinions on these if you own them.

Travelon Messenger Bag

Travelon Boarding Bag

Baggallini Messenger Bags.

If you have any other suggestions please post them. I don't need anything too big, just enough room for cell phone, a bottle a water, a small camera and money. I would prefer something "hands-free" and something affordable (which is keeping me for getting the Baggallini).

Thanks!!!!

I prefer LeSportsac bags. I carried a crossbody style called Kasey during my trip last August. The Cleo style or basic backpack might be a good option for hands free touring. They currently carry a collection based on the artwork of "It's A Small World."

I had two Travelon bags and I really liked them for park usage! They're well made too.

I can't comment on the style because that's so subjective but I do love the quality of the Baggallini bags. I bought a backpack style Baggallini (they no longer make it) almost five years ago and I still use that bag. I've washed it several times, dropped it, stomped it, packed it and abused it and it's still like new. The stitching and zippers are really good quality in my bag. I haven't needed (or wanted) to replace it. Its a great quality and I'm loyal to the brand as a result.

I also cannot comment on style, as I prefer very very small bags. But I have a Travelon, and a few baggalinis and they are all fantastic bags!!

My vote goes to Baggallini. They are a bit pricier, but they are well-made, and last a long time.
Sometimes you can get lucky and find a good price on ebay. Also, if you have a Marshalls near you, you can sometimes find them there.

I use the Baggallini Triple Zip in the parks. It holds all of the things you mentioned, except for the water bottle.

I have that same bagallini but it's leather so I would never take that it to Disney. (We go in August) I have walked around Germany with it & loved it.

I'd go with the messenger bag b/c I hate carrying around water bottles ;)

I just bought a Vera Bradley hipster when they had a big sale on retired patterns. I don't carry alot (camera, cellphone, glasses case, chapstick, ID) I needed something big enough to carry a poncho or umbrella for the daily summer rain storm. Now that the kids are bigger we don't need a backpack so everyone carries their own stuff.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I was at TJ Maxx yesterday and they have the Baggallini Uptown bag. I may get that one for my sister for her birthday. I still have decided which one to get for me.

You might want to look at an Ameribag. It's a tear dropped shape and great for your back. I finally wore mine out after 10 years of heavy use.
