If the resale I am attempting to purchase does not pass ROFR by Jan. 31st, I might be tempted to purchase from Disney with this promo.

Is there anyone who lives in a "referral" state who is in need of a third referral (which will give them a $500 bonus) who would split it with me? (Always looking to milk a discount for all it's worth!)

Sorry I haven'y been following the thread this week. I had the Visa and have checked the Chase disney Visa site and they are still offering the 0% vacation financing. I could not find the specifics but you could probably call DVC and ask them about the offer. They are the ones who alerted me. I know you checked the website, but it may not be as ap to date?

Thanks Jeff, I was away myself. But I did talk to my guide yesterday and did put the 2500 downpayment for SSR add on, on the Disney Visa and got 0% financing for 6 months also got Disney reward dollars for it . Thanks I didn't think DVC could answer that question thought I would have to wait for an answer from Chase(for which I am still waiting) Thank again Carol

About the referral money...I thought it had been posted previously that the only way you get the money is if someone gives DVC your name during the initial contact -- meaning if you have already taken a tour or requested the info. packet it has already established you in the DVC system, and would therefore disqualify anyone from getting a monetary compensation. You would still be able to take advantage of the 15% discount but the person giving the referral gets a $50(?) giftcard to DisneyShopping.com...not the money. Which is still nice to receive but not nearly as exciting as $$$.

Referral bonus's can be taken in DD's, toward mtc fee's, toward an add on, or, given to a children's charity...
..so.... there is NO such thing as "spliting the referral bonus"...I would need to pay "out of pocket" to the person for giving me the referral.

A bit crude to me and certainly not Disneylike for a few measly bucks!

A little appreciation and big Thank You for saving a person 15%...is more to my style!

When I read the post, I thought the person was looking to receive a referral...not give one out. Therefore, they were looking for someone that had already given out two referrals to others and would qualify for the $500 w/the 3rd referral. Still...a bit tacky none the less.
