Looking for a good hotel off 95 in NC

Can anyone tell me some hotels or towns they have stayed at in NC off of 95? I'm looking to spend the night going south, so it needs to be Rocky Mount or further down. I'm hoping someone has some personal experience and can tell me where they have stayed.

We are staying at a Holiday Inn Express in Emporia,VA Friday night. It is just off of I95 and very close to the North Carolina state line. It must be about and hour north of Rocky Mount. I got a two bed queen suite, with a pullout couch for $80 (state goverment rate). It includes breakfast, with sausage, bacon, hot cakes, scrambled eggs, fruit, bagels yogurt, juice, coffee, milk. They also have a promotion going right now, if you apply for the priority club visa you get $50 off your first bill. So for $30, five of us are spending the night and getting a full breakfast the next morning. I will give a review after breakfast on Saturday!

I live in Smithfield and we have a lot of new ones at the outlet exit plus a lot of places to eat as well.

I stayed at a Comfort Inn in Rocky Mount last year, just off of 95 on Rte 64 and near US 301. Had an Outback in the same parking lot, think I paid about $89 for the night. Clean hotel, tons of chains on 301 with other dinner options. Near a Krispy Kreme/Dunkin' Donuts which helped me to start the drive the next AM, but the hotel did have a free continental. Hope it helps!

Can you tell me which ones are new? Reviews online for a lot of the hotels are poor. I want clean room, beds and food in the morning.

Emporia is too close to home. I need to get further South.
