I had read somewhere that they only have two sales yearly (november, and some other month).

They have the buy 1 get 1 free season sets sale going right now, but I haven't seen any others.

They have cheap prices and free shipping so they are a good place to order from even without the sale!

Have anyone order from deepdiscouteddvd.com and had any problems with them. Because I am conisdering ordering 100.00 dollars worth of dvds from them.. they have the cheapest price I have seen for Silk Stalkings box set.

I ordered two DVDs during their November 20% off sale and they were scheduled to arrive between Nov 21 and 26th... they arrived the 26th. The shipping took a while (IMO) but they arrived in perfect condition, and the one that originally came with a slipcover was even shipped with one in perfect condition.

I have heard of a lot of people who have ordered from them many times with no problems, then others who did have problems. Of course, no matter who you order from online you could find problems now and then

I had a good experience and would order from them again!!

I get all my DVD's from there. I've been using them for 4 years now with no problems. If you use their free shipping it is either Media Mail or 3rd Class. That is why it takes so long to get your DVD's. I don't mind waiting though and they are 9 times out of 10 the cheapest on movies.

I've also ordered DVD from deep discount and haven't encounter any problems. Sure, the shipping is a little slow, but I don't mind especially b/c of the prices and free shipping.

We had a big problem with them - we ordered a DVD and they sent us the wrong one. It took almost a month and a half to straighten it out and get the correct DVD. They're great for cheap DVDs, but we experienced that their customer service is quite lacking. Just fyi!

I ordered 11/10 and got mine on 11/26. So that was a little over 2 weeks. It supposedly shipped on the 12th but took until the 26th to get to me.

I'd say if you order within the next few days you'll be ok for xmas.

I just ordered about $150.00 worth of DVD's from them. This was my first time ordering with them. They have that great boxed set sale going on now. Thats a good deal. Other than that, I don't think their prices are any better than other sites. I just ordered a lot of DVD's. The prices from DDD was the exact same as the prices through amazon.com. They do offer free shipping though.
I ordered through DDD because it was convienient, not because they were any cheaper, because they weren't.

I had the opposite experience with customer service, I thought they were excellent. I got my order, and a DVD was missing. I expected a problem, and there was none. They just said they were send me the DVD, and they did. I thought they were a great company. I also got my items pretty quickly.

I think DDD is terrific and I've been a repeat customer for a few years now. The free shipping can take awhile, but the prices can't be beat. Even the expedited shipping, if you should need it, is pretty reasonable.

I ordered for the first time a couple of weeks ago and used their BOGO free deal. I got the boxed sets of seasons 1-8 of Stargate SG-1. The total cost was $138. I've been watching ebay for these for a long time and have seen used sets selling for more than that (not counting the Asian versions that are on there - I didn't want to chance those).

So far, I've gotten two of the sets. I got an email yesteday saying that two more are being shipped. It's starting to look like they won't all make it for Christmas. Since they're for me, I don't care if they're here by Christmas (although they are my present), but it might have mattered otherwise. On the other hand, I'm thrilled with the price!

Yes, I bought a couple of DVD's cheaper at Wal-Mart than they were listed on that site.
