Has anyone been to look out cay? Is it private only for DC? I ask because I read that Disney has given access to civilians of Eleuthera and theres an area connecting it to Coco Cay?

No one has officially been yet (I believe the first sailings are in June?), but it’s not a private island. It’s Disney’s new destination on Eleuthera, so not the same as Castaway that is private and exclusive to DCL.

The 1st Disney Cruise call is on June 7th, so no one has "officially" visited it just yet and this is nowhere near Coco Cay. Locals have access to specific areas of Lighthouse Point which is for Public Use, whereas Lookout Cay itself, which is located within Lighthouse Point, is private. With all of that said, Princess Cays is on the other side of the point.

You can look for photos of Lighthouse Point, Eleuthera, to see the beauty of the area as it was before Disney development.

As stated, Princess Cays is a very close beach.

The June 6th Magic sailing will be the first to stop at Lighthouse Point.

It is not a strictly media cruise though.

Yeah, I don't think there is a "media cruise" to the beach. That would have involved cancelling a cruise for a lot of people and we would have heard uproar over that.

Vloggers and the like just likely bought up the available cabins once the dates were known so they can be on the "OMG FIRST!!!!!" sailing. (What I love is how one account I follow on Insta - not exclusively DCL and not even exclusively Disney - immediately said "There is tons of separation between the Family Beach and the Adult Beach!!!" when they haven't even been there and the map clearly does NOT show separation beyond some sand.)
