I'm just stopping in quickly to ask you all for your thoughts and prayers.
My aunt was rushed to the hospital with a blood clot in her leg and is currently in the ICU. They are going to take her into surgery this afternoon to try and surgically remove it.

This is a very scary time for all of us, please keep her in your thoughts

Snow, she will definitely be in my thoughts and I will pray for her that the surgery will be a success.

Please keep us updated, when you can.

Hello everyone!
it has been a busy morning here already



Thoughts and prayers for your aunt and family, Snow

I do ice cream for breakfast.

Kids are at bible school
except DS who is mowing the neighbors lawn
they are on vacation (not disney)
and I forgot to take their garbage out!!
darn it, so unreliable!
I am watering the flowers for them (and remembering to do that!)

DS is just mowing becasue DH said it would be nice to do
so they come home to less work

DS is "graduating" from tutoring
he did exceptionally well in the year he attended
and while they typically do a two year program
they are short on tutors
and there are many children who need more remediation than DS
so his last day will be Thursday


He is thrilled
it is bittersweet
it was a very beneficial program
and I am sorry that he won't get another year's worth
but glad he did so well
and happy for him, as he is more than happy to be "done"!

as she needs to be fully packed today
for some reason
i guess she will be having naked wednesday and thursday!

time to take DS to work
and gather up all the girls from bible school
and then feed them lunch
and entertain them this afternoon

Well, I made a magnificent macaroni and cheese for lunch
and my child obligation pronounced it the best ever

I also made garlic bread
(what weird tastes I cater to)

and she said her uncle makes even better garlic bread than that
but that it was pretty good
and could I make more

now the gals have gone to the basement to play

and then Pollly Pocket
on a compromise


I had to unearth all the rubbermaid tubs of pieces/parts


but then I was dismissed

Was40, my nieces love Polly Pocket. Auntie, not so much!
Meeko walked by one day with a Polly doll in his mouth and the girls had not been here for weeks. He apparently has his own secret stash.
