the girls barefeet are BLACK from playing outside
no way they are getting into their nice clean
just washed the sheets this morning
beds!

Our street feels kinda prickly. So I try not to step on it that much barefoot. Plus it has patches on it.

at the risk of sounding gushy
today is a beautiful day
I feel so blessed to enjoy this lovely summer!

DS bandaided his blistered thumb
and headed off to the Carpenter's Project at seven AM
(well, I drove him there, he was too tired to drive!)

DD13 is headed to another local amusement park today
Kennywood

when I was looking at the Silver Springs website
I noticed a bunch of these old time parks are connected somehow
you can get info on the three near me on the Silver Springs "partner' site
plus more!

DD10 has a sleepover birthday party tonight, starting at five

My temp is only reading 64 right now,
but not a cloud in the sky and the sun is already pouring into the house

DD10 and I had breakfast in the gazebo
ahhh........

I think DD10 and I will do a little shopping
for her


she went through her whole dresser yesterday
and we gave a big back of hand me downs to the kids we babysat
(for the six year old that wasn't here)


so now she thinks she needs a few more things for vacation
