Nearly, just a few last minute things.

All packed??


well, not quite!

DS hasn't packed a single thing yet!
the girls are done, and their suitcase zipped shut
they are using a new one, so I have to do luggage tags and the braid thing I put on the handle to help us find the suitcases quickly

I still have to round up a few things
I have lists so I don't forget anything that I have already remembered that I need

Your DS sounds like my sister. She hasn't even touched her suitcase yet.

Well, I am sure you will all want to wonder what I am doing each day...
so here is the briefest of briefs

Saturday Aug 8 Chef Mickey's breakfast, Magic Kingdom, and Orlando Science Center in afternoon
Sunday Aug 9 Typhoon Lagoon
Monday Busch Gardens
Tuesday Blizzard Beach and Medieval Times
Wednesday either Busch Gardens or Animal Kingdom in AM/ Epcot PM
THursday Typhoon Lagoon
Friday Aug 14 Magic Kingdom AM / Epcot PM or Busch Gardens
Saturday Blizzard Beach
Sunday...My birthday! Hollywood Studios
Monday Aug 17, AM park time...undecided as to which one, our flight leaves at 6PM

paid all the bills
cleaned out the fridge
wrote notes for the neighbors who are looking after the pool
and the hamster
washed last minute clothes that are needed for vacation


I think that about covers it!

DH is on vacation!

packed snacks for the plane for each kid (including DH)
just need to round up the shoes everyone needs
besides the ones they will be wearing tomorrow

DS's huge feet have HEAVY shoes
must make sure his suitcase isn't over the weight limit of 50 pounds

We better not need the sweatshirts and hot chocolate, PAD
since we aren't taking anything warmer than t-shirts and shorts
not even a single pair of long pants

We are packed!
We could PROBABLY have fit everything into two suitcases
but three is much better.
We don't even need the carry on bags I was anticipating. Just a snack bag for each kid, which is no where near the size of a stowable carryon bag.
DH is so proud, less to lug around

and DS weighed his bag, only 35 pounds

My Aunt is not doing very good. The blood clot is gone but she has a very weak heart and it has lots of fluid on it. She is in a Cardiac ICU and was supposed to go for tests today but the doctors say she is not strong enough.

Snow, I am so glad your aunt is doing better!

How do you even know you have a blood clot? Pain?
I will keep them in my prayers.

She was at work and had numbness in her leg. They called 911 and by the time she got to the hospital her leg was as white as a sheet of paper and very cold, she couldn't move her toes.

Snow gets a big YAY too, today. Last day of work - YAY!!!!

I hope that your Aunt is doing better.

How was the picnic?

I'm so happy! We only have to work until 1! They are giving us a pizza party and we have to return all of our equipment. Cross your fingers it ends before 4

The picnic was great! Everyone had a wonderful time, but I'm exhausted

Sammy the Hammy is safely stowed at neighbor number 1, where he will stay until the 16th, when those neighbors go on vaca
and Sammy heads to neighbor number 2 for two days

DD13 wrote a two page note about his care and feeding
