I don’t think I’ve ever seen a thread here about this place.

What are peoples’ thoughts on it?

What are your favorites on the menu?

Longhorn Menu

I've never been to a Longhouse. I wouldn't have a problem trying it though. Is it similar to a Texas Roadhouse? I not a huge fan of that place.

I love their salmon and so does my mother-in-law. My husband usually gets a strip steak which is really good.

We absolutely love Longhorn! Their steaks are incredible, the service at our location has always been impeccable, and their bread & honey butter is delicious! I would recommend downloading their app. You can see how busy your location is and also get on a wait list.

We have a Longhorn nearby, and we go there occasionally. The food is good -- typical large chain restaurant. I usually get some kind of steak, but they have a fairly broad menu.

Our Longhorn is very popular, and we don't go very often because of the long lines.

I used to love going there.. the had the best steak salad's until the one time I got food poisoning and will never go back.

We have one in Lansing and go occasionally. The decor is classier than Texas Roadhouse. We think their food and drinks are good.

Really like Longhorn and think they have great food, reasonable prices and a menu with a wide variety. Always had good food there. Can recall eating at a local Texas Roadhouse many years ago and I sent back the corn side dish since it was so HOT/SPICY I couldn't eat it. The waitress laughed and said lots of people say that................I was like why not tell people when they place their order since nowhere on the menu was there any mention of hot/spicy side dishes? Who normally expects corn to be spicy? They seem to overly season most of their foods and we have never eaten there since.

We go to LongHorn every once in a while. We always have good meals there. I usually get some type of steak, and it has always been good. My wife likes the parmesan crusted chicken.

I have never been to a Texas Roadhouse. But I love Longhorn! Always get a good, consistent meal there. I read somewhere that they brush their steaks with a lemon butter or something like that, which give them a distinctive flavor.

Oh no! What happened?

I usually don’t go to national chain restaurants often, but Longhorn is good once or twice a year. My last visit was pre-Covid.

Was actually just there this past weekend. Wasn't our first choice, but the other couple places we tried were over an hour wait (Saturday night), but Longhorn is always a solid choice. No specific favorites on the menu, per se, I got a surf and turf with steak and shrimp. My son got a bone-in ribeye. I really like their sweet potato as a side.

Another Darden chain restaurant. I had to look it up, but the closest one to my home is in Southern California. Olive Garden is Darden's big one, but Red Lobster used to be another. Being a chain doesn't have to be bad. Darden's Yard House chain is really good, although they're logo is kind of meh.

Never been to a Longhorn but we had a Texas Road House open by us early last year. We ordered for a pick up, it was a cluster. And the food was awful. I sent in a feedback, they comped one meal. We tried it again, same result, a cluster and terrible food. Make it a bad experience, worth a second try. Make it a bad experience twice in a row, I'm done. Last time for us.

Significantly prefer Texas Roadhouse, which is probably my favorite chain restaurant. I don't mind Longhorn, but I don't think its much (or any) better than TR, but a good bit more expensive.

I had the 7 pepper steak salad, and within a few hours.. I couldn't leave the bathroom.. had to use a trash barrel at one point, was on the ground with the chills.. lasted quite a few hours until I felt better.
