Just wondering if we would need sweatshirts, or just long sleeved shirts for the last week in April(For at night time)??
Thanks
Candy

I would bring at least a sweatshirt. 2 years ago in April, we had a cold snap for a few days, very strong wind and cold. We wore pants and sweatshirts and jackets.

One or 2 sweatshirts should be enough. Usually pretty warm by then but sometimes cool at night. Late April is usually the last of the "cool" fronts that pass through the area.

I think one would be plenty. I usually just bring a light fleece jacket for the nighttime. It is usually wonderful by that time though!

I think just one sweatshirt would be enough. We were there last April and it got very cold and very windy very fast once it got dark.

I agree on bringing at least one sweatshirt. It can feel really good in the early morning and at night, especially if there is a stiff breeze. I was in Disney the last week in April last year and a light jacket would not have been enough for me. In fact, one day I had on a tee shirt, sweatshirt over that, and then a light jacket over both of those...and I was still chilly because the wind blew all day. Better to be safe than risk being cold!

Thanks for the heads up, that is the one thing I do not want to be and that is cold!
Thanks allot.

We were there the 1st week of May last year.

On the night of EMH at MK, we were planning on staying til midnite or so....we had to leave at 10 p.m. because DS7 was cold & not having any more fun. (We had left his jacket back at POP).

We were there the third week of April last year and had a cold spell at the end of the trip. The night we saw Spectromagic, I really wished I had blankets for the kids. DS, who usually is impervious to weather, was very cold sitting on the curb. If we go that time of year again, we will bring some fleece jackets or sweatshirts and hats just in case.

One thing I tried for the first time last October was a long-sleeved denim shirt. Loved it! It was a lighter layer than a sweatshirt, but easy to layer over a t-shirt or tank top. Plus, it fit into my small backpack very easily when not in use.

I'll be there in late April / Early May and I plan to take 1 favorite sweatshirt - that I can rewear if needed.

Only the one though - because if it does get that cold while there - then I have the perfect excuse for my DH why I NEED to by some more Disney Sweatshirts!!

Ya know, I'd probably pack one or two just for the heck of it. The way the weather has been this year you just don't know what you will come up against. Or, you could probably buy one out there if you have the extra $$$.

It's been in the 80's the past couple of days. I'd pack a light sweater for the evening, and maybe bring one long sleeve tee, but nothing too heavy.
