I've got multiple thoughts running through my mind. We've got less than 3 months and I've got some planning to do.

• Does anyone know when we will be "surprised" with the London Eye?
• Since I can't join the group going on the 2nd, I'm looking into going to Buckingham Palace on the afternoon of the 3rd. Anyone want to join me?
• We don't have as much free time in Paris. Anyone got plans outside of the items on the tour?
• Walking shoes. Has anyone tried Cole Haan shoes? Are they as comfortable as advertised?
• I'm a Doctor Who fan...not extreme but love the show. Should I take time to do the Doctor Who Experience? I think it would be fun but I'll be in London...

I'm in the same boat with you with Buckingham Palace, since my flight is scheduled to arrive 11:15am thereabouts. I'm torn because I might want to do other things more. I don't know when I'll have time to see the British Museum, and I know I want to do that, too.

I have 2 pairs of wonderful Cole Haan pumps. While they are comfortable, they take a while to break in. I'm going to go with a couple of pairs of Merrell's. They have a microfiber type fabric that will dry quickly and should hold up nicely if there's rain.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only Christy with random thoughts at work!

I avoid traditional walking/running shoes on a everyday basis...just not my thing unless I'm actually going out for a run (which doesn't happen as often as it should).
