Lombards or Margaritaville???

We've never eaten at any restaurants in Universal and I was wondering about these two. Any opions and or suggestions will be greately appreciated.

Oh I've picked Mythos for our day at IOA.

We've never gone to Lombard's but I can vouch for Margaritaville. My son and I were very happy with the food and service plus I particularly loved the atmosphere.

There are 2 such different restaurants. Margaritaville is fun, loud, burgers and pasta place at citywalk. Lombards is more formal, with dark woods, and a menu heavy with seafood (which I love) I loved the view at Lombards, but enjoyed the food and atmosphere slightly better at Margaritaville.

As NCRedding said, they are VERY different restaurants. Lombard's is more subdued. They have a very large tank with fish in the middle of the dining room. The view is great. We had several delicious meals there. Magaritaville is loud with standard fare food. We liked our meals at Lombard's better than our meals at Margaritaville.

I've eaten at Lombard's. The food was good, but it didn't really fill me up. I should have gotten an appetizer or desert.

Since I'll have "teen-age" boys with our group sounds like Margaritaville may be the better choice.

BTW, any other suggestions for meals while I'm there?? Mythos is on the list for the day we do IOA, but I'm open to other suggestions!

I'll chime in again with my usual response. We were pleasantly surprised with Motown--very friendly wait staff, good food and huge portions.

Where is Lombard's located? I've been to Citiwalk but don't remember seeing it. We're bringing the grandparents to Portofino and have made PS at Emeril's. Their a bit subdued for some of the places, but this Lombard's might be worth a look.

Lombards is in Universal Studios. It is on the water in the San Francisco area. We enjoyed our meal there. Very nice atmosphere and tasty food.

If you are bringing teenage boys, they would probably REALLY like the Hard Rock Cafe. Mythos is my absolute favorite restaurant there.

Since you'll be there in August, Lombard's is a great place to beat the heat without leaving the park.
Once you start at Margaritaville, all your plans may start changing!
With teen boys.... Hard Rock Cafe may be a highlite (and let 'em walk around and touch stuff).

Funny; I never gave the Hard Rock a thought! We have one here in New York and we've never even been there!

Looks like Mythos will definately be on the plan and now we just have to choose between Hard Rock, Margaritaville.

All my plans to Florida should be this easy!

Be sure to check out the All-Access card. My teens loved walking to the front of the line, even in front of the people with PS, and being told to stand on the "red carpet" which gave us the very next table. Great perk, and when you join up, ($25.00) you get $20.00 off first purchase.
