I did what you said... deleted both flash and shockwave, restarted my computer. Reinstalled flash and shock... cleared files, cookies... restarted...
VMK took a while to load the first time (normal after deleteing flies) logged in... logged off... logged back in and it was smooth as a baby's bottom!

I am still having issues - it is taking forever to load sign in page-if it loads at all. I keep getting server too busy page. I have uninstalled shockwave, reinstalled it, cleared temp files. It was working fine right after I did that, but now it is so slow again. I think VMK needs to fix their servers.

did you uninstall Flash?

Yes but you have to click on manual install on the shockwave page to get the full version. It is tough to find but it is floating around there somewhere

I'm in the same boat..have been for the past few days...I knew if I didn't start logging in for a host event 30 minutes prior to it starting I would miss the open.

I can't get past the black screen during log in so tried the whole uninstall shockwave and reinstall thing (yes I reboot between) but in the reinstalling the bar won't go much past half way. I know the specs mentioned that it would be 6 min on a 56K internet connection, but I have high speed and it has now been more than 15 min at least. Can someone give some suggestions??

How did you do it?

Did you uninstall Shockwave or flash first? which did ou reinstall first and did you delete your cookies?

ok do it this way:

Delete Cookies and Temp files

Uninstall Flash

Uninstall Shockwave if any of it is there

Restart computer

Now reinstall shockwave first

then flash

and restart computer
