Lockers at Castaway Cay

Hi everybody!

The search is disabled and I can't remember if there are lockers on the island. I want to bring my camera but reluctant to leave it unattended while we go swimming. Thanks in advance

I'll second that... No Lockers.

At the same time, there are also a lot of people around, so I think the odds of stuff getting stolen are pretty small. Yes, it's a possibility, but at long as you don't advertise the fact that you have any expensive items with you, you most likely will not have a problem. An yes, I've taken expensive cameras to CC and left it in our bad on the beach while we all went snorkelling.

If you still feel real insecure about it, perhaps you can attempt to lock it to something that is semi-permanent. If you can get a spot under an unbrella, they are pretty much fixed in place. I'm sure that there is some easy way for them to be removed, but if someone was willing to go that far to steal something, it seems like it would help draw attention to the situation. Just a though.

We also left expensive camera equipment on our chairs at CC. We didn't worry about it while we were snorkling and when we came back it was still there. I wouldn't guess you would have a problem. I don't think anyone with enough cash to go on a Disney cruise would have the need or heart to steal something from a fellow cruiser.

Thanks for the info. I thought I had seen somewhere that stuff had been stolen there. I must have had it confused with something else. I'll just bring my bag and hide the camera well (I have had a bunch of stuff stolen over the years and I can't help being paranoid) So, you're probably wondering why I'd bother to bring the camera? I want LOTS of pictures of the island this time. It is so beautiful there

I thought I had seen somewhere that stuff had been stolen there.

There has been posts regarding peoples rented rafts being swiped, but I don't remember if it was ever decided that it was a malicious event or honest mistake.

We've been on CC 3 times......I've left cameras money glasses buckets of beer and nothing ever dissappeared.

Bring disposable cameras (and the waterproof ones too). Then you can get a lot of pictures without as much of a worry about a really nice camera getting legs and walking off or you accidently geting sand or salt water in it and ruining it.
