What rides at IOA and US require you to put your bag in a locker? I know it's not required on the water rides, but I would like to use a locker for those as well. Are the free lockers close enough to those or will I need to pay for a nearby locker? And finally, what do they tell you to do with loose fitting shoes on rides like Dr. Doom and Dueling Dragons? Thanks for any help!

1) Hulk, Dueling Dragons, MIB, & Mummy require you to put All Bags & Loose Items in a locker. That means backpacks, purses, souvenir bags, cameras, camcorders, drink cups, etc. Lockers there are free while you ride. After a certain amount of time (60 mins, generally) then the lockers will charge you.

2) None of the water rides have free lockers. What you can do is get a bag from any merchandise store and put any items in the bags. Take as many as you need. Items will be safe and generally stay less wet when placed on the floor for JP and Ripsaw. On Popeye & Bluto's, there is a plastic covering in the middle that you can place all of your items in. They should still be bagged, imo.

3)For loose fitting shoes, do you mean flip-flops? Any backless shoes can be placed in the mini storage bins on Doctor Doom. For Dueling Dragons, you will be required to either sit on them or place them over your hands. Ride operators will NOT hold any items for you.

if you go past the 60 minutes of free storage locker due to the long lines,
contact the closest TM and they will open the locker for you for free. they are aware you can go over the time limit if the lines are long.

and if you are like me and just walk away from the locker and remember 4 hours later that is where you left your stuff, the tm will open them up for you. i completely forgot i left everything in the locker. i was like a 10 year kid all excited going on the mummy then dashing to MIB i completly forgot to empty the locker.

more than likely you will not have a problem.

Are you able to keep a fanny pack on? or do you have to take that off too?

it might depend on the tm for that ride.

i have heard some posters say they had to have everything in a locker.
i rode hulk, dd, mib, mummy last year and wore a fanny pack.

dr doom had me put the fanny pack in the bin in the room we were launched out of . (very secure to leave it in bin on this ride)

do need to say, i broke the frame on my good sunglasses while riding the hulk by having them in my fanny bag. i didn't think of them getting damaged when i had the pack on.

it is a good thing to have the fanny pack in a locker so you won't break anything in the fanny pack. some of the rides have a bit more force and you might have the lap bag or safety constraint put pressure on the waist bag.

the tm's are doing their job if they say take off the fanny pack and use the locker. i guess it was the crowd and i was over looked when i had mine on when i rode last year.
next time, i will use the lockers. can't chance my digital camera having damage done to it on a ride. the contraints usually hits me in the waist area where my pack is.

It's best to put fanny/hip packs in a locker. Better safe than sorry, especially if an item gets CRUNCHED due to being pinned against you and the RV.

thank-you all for the advice... I'll be carrying my camera and glasses , so the lockers will be a good idea. :-)

I wear my digital camera in a case on my belt. It's been on lots of roller coasters! Will they have me store it in a locker? It's not much bigger than a deck of cards.

I wore a small pounch with my camera in it (which is the size of a deck of cards as well). No one instructed me to put it in a locker.
