LOCKED OUT OF MDE

If you have been locked out of your MDE, can you post the reason you were given why this happened when you contacted MS or the help desk?

With all the rumors, comments, speculations, etc, wanted first hand knowledge.

Maybe I am missing something, but it does not make computer sense to me how someone could be locked out of their MDE.
The unticketed MDE, they could lock you out of, but how would the computer link the ticketless MDE to the park entry MDE?!
It does not seem possible to me!


We have never used the same day kiosk.

Seems that the kiosk could be used to verify MDE @ the time of making.
So no need to lock up an MDE;
just not allow use of it @ the kiosk?!

Am I missing something?

You are missing something.
They have shut down the ability to book FP without having a ticket of any sort.
All FP will have a ticket attached of some sort now.
So they will have something to track if someone tries to use a FP but didn't use the ticket to enter the park that day
So there will be some account to shut down

Forgive me if we're treading into waters we're not suppose to talk about..and feel free to send a pm if you (or someone else doesn't want to post about it). But I thought the whole thing is shutting down people using SDFP's with no tickets. Is it extended to scanning a mb at the entrance?

So say my sister has an AP. Wife and I go to the park who are also AP holders but sister doesn't go. I haven't done it in the past, but can I no longer use my sisters AP for 3 preselected FP's because her band wasn't scanned to enter the park?

Every member has valid tickets but just one band wasn't scanned for entrance. Asking because if I do choose to do that I would like to know that my account won't be suspended.

That's correct. You must have missed Alerts that were running in threads here and on TP Community. The goal was to keep DISers from having their MDE accounts locked.

Speculation of why the OP was locked out is not necessary. We need to wait for his return.

I saw a bunch of threads but didn't bother reading through because I thought the crack down was only on people doing the sdfps with MDE accounts with no tickets.

Having read a number of his posts, I thought he was asking about himself.


Seeing how no one has reported being locked out using FPs that were linked to tickets not used to enter the park, closing.
